  • That, David Koepp happens if you write Indiana Jones 4

  • I always feel sorry for the extras that die. You know?

  • Watching this terrible movie is about as painful as being ripped to shreds by a T Rex.

  • farr thats gotta hurt, but hes going "ah ah ah ahhh!! OH YEAH!!!" wtf?

  • rex obv saw it was a pull door and took advantage

  • if only the door was a push he would have made it

  • i love how that guy is credited in the credits as "Unlucky Bastard"

  • @Foxtrot oh

  • you should've keep going in the same direction you twit

  • actually the title is The Lost World Jurassic Park

  • Yeah yeah yeah, let her do her stuff

  • @animruler2 That's actually the male.

  • @bioniclemaster152319 instead of "OH CRAP" I think it more of FUUUCK!!

  • He will be alive if there were red boxess there lol

  • why is the man got eaten by a t-rex and goes ahhh ahhh ahh OH YEAH!!! does he like killing himself?

  • Kphoriasaurus

  • He got the door open, but not fast enough to make it inside. One thing I can't figure out in these movies is once Tyrannosaurus eats someone, it's no longer hungry until its next meal. For its massive size, it would be like you eating one small pig in a blanket (small snack-size hot dog wrapped in dough). Would YOU be full after just one of those? Probably not. I know I wouldn't.

  • @Dac719 : Maybe enough for a few hours. In a typical killing scene where a T-Rex may kill its natural large herbivores such as Hadrosaurs, Ceratopsians and occassionally Sauropods (There was Alamosaurus) and ankylosaurus, T-Rex would eat enough meat to keep it full for at least 4 days (that a lot of meat)

  • @RocketHarry865 Yeah, but eating a small human is hardly anything to a T-Rex compared its normal prey that you mentioned. I would think it would still be hungry after eating that man. Well, maybe it still was since it was chasing other people, too. After he's killed, it chases after a few cars near the gas station before it knows Ian and Sarah have its baby.

  • dang where is the freakin army. an abrams would blow a hole straight through that dino's lung.

  • @Andy97v : Try calling the nearest military base that a 6 ton predatory dinosaur that supposed to be extinct for 65 MYA is attacking the City, they would hung on you thinking it is a joke

  • i remember this when i watched it the very first time back in 1998 or so. for me this was the most scary movie clip of all time..jeeeeeeeeez!

  • DUMBASS, how does he not know to pull the door i mean hes a nerd and has probably been to gamestop lots of times right

  • @IsmailAli123 bastard, the door was... oh umm ya it was open

  • I prefer the one where Eddie Carr (Richard Schiff) gets pulled out of the jeep and eaten by the two T-Rexes at the same time - is that on You Tube, cos I can't find it!

  • FAIL!

  • This is why all stores should have "push to open" doors...

  • i wonder if there is an unrated version of that scene

  • The guy that gets eaten is both the writer and second unit director of the movie (David Koepp)

  • Is it just me or is that Rex a bit smaller than the huge beast from JP1?

  • LMAO SU FUUNY THE NOISES HE MADE MEAN WHILE HE GOT EATEN HAHAHAH

  • I wonder who did the scream and the whaagwaa noise in the studio

  • 0:01 to 0:02 RUN ITS THE WORK OF STEPHEN SPIELBURG!!!!

  • see what happens when you return a late video? CURSE YOU BLOCKBUSTER!!!!

  • @thesyncsta12 he would still be alive if he had just switched to netflix

  • God I don't know how my fucking mentality survived after watching this shit at age 7. That's not vore it's gore

  • @Japanamaniac i was 3 and i fucking loved it.

  • Man: uah uah uah uaah yahh uagah..aahhh....

  • bon apetit :D

  • The "unlucky bastard" is David Koepp, (the screenwriter of Jurassik Park, and the Lost World, Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull,) for those who dont know him, "

  • @movisony4 thanks for the info man.

  • see what happens when you dont read the push dont pull sign

  • @thesyncsta12 actually i think its pull dont push, in this case. but still funny lol

  • i luv trexes <3

  • That is a really fake scream. Then again, I have no idea what it would sound.

  • he got his vocal chords fucked

  • 'tis probably just blood rushing into his throat after that thing caved his chest in at 0:12

  • C'est la vie ^^

  • That scene is a trivia. The guy that gets eaten was the co writer of the script or the director of photography or something like that. It was his wish and Spielberg accepted it.

  • He wrote the screenplay :D

  • ahh thank you :D

  • It was Billy! The Blue Power ranger!! y do you think he left the series? he wasnt fired heavens no! he was on his way to the command center until the rex came in and ate him. he was doomed even though he should have summoned the triceratops. a little late for morphin time lol

  • WHY ARE YOU GOING TO RENT A MOVIE NOW?!

  • Is it wrong that I'm slightly turned on by this?

  • No, I get where you're coming from. The tension of this scene, the beauty of the T-Rex, it all has a pretty physical effect on you. Maybe it's the rush of blood.

  • @Leejungwoo48 no it's not :)

  • What nice white teeth you have, Mr. Rex... 0:08

  • LOL is funny how the nerd yells when he gets eaten

  • WAHWAH OH GO-glurbleglub

  • LOL XD

  • its also weird how his legs are still flailing after the glurbleglub. didnt that killl him?

  • Probably just reflexes

  • yep...jurassic park 2 rules!!!!!

  • RUN!!

    IT'S GODZILLA!!!!!

  • thats David Koepp!

He kinda directed some of Jurassic Park,as well as Indiana Jones and Spiderman

  • Poor Squeeb

  • I love the 90s.

  • what is with the choking sound?

  • Comment removed

  • He would have been called the lucky bastard if he would of open the door without looking back, just hope the T-rex won't break in.

  • lol that guy should have kept running instead of turning to the store.

  • that guy's got owned.

  • Credited as>>>>unluck bastard!

  • dude, its a film

  • this guy was one of the off-side producers for the scenes for the movie and they thought it would be funny if they gave him a shitty cameo xD

  • This guy is David Koepp, the scenarist of the movie :P and also for the first jurassic park...and lots of more good movies ^^

  • In the credits they refer to innocent bystander as 'unlucky Bastard'

  • its billy! the blue power ranger!

  • LOL

  • It must be a veyr primordial feeling in those seconds to be hunted down and eaten. i think your brain would be wiped of all thoughts except a kind of shock, base instinct to survive and black terror when you know you are fucked. The film makers cop out every time though and fail to bring out the true teror, with totally unrealistic screaming. Come on..the man is losing his life in a horrifying way!

  • fuck at 0:12 the bite took me in

  • Maybe he was too shocked to scream :P

  • @mayer0612 ya how are you supposed to react when oh i dont know A F*KIN T-REX IS CHASING YOU IN THE MIDDEL OF SEATLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think the sound of the JP T-rex's roar is the universal sign for "kiss your ass goodbye".

  • @codzilla12 so ture

  • LOL total ownage!! just imagine those banana-sized teeth crushing you with the maximum rex bite force

  • Thank you, I'd rather not.

  • the guy inside : Hello welcome to wall mart ....0.0 ... come again

  • Have a nice day XD

  • It's like a real T-rex hunt: It keeps chasing a herd until one is separated, then he moves in for the kill.

  • He was played by David Koepp, who wrote the screenplay.

  • Wasn't Koepp also responsible for JP III?

  • No, that was a couple of losers. Koepp did co-write the screenplay for the first Jurassic along with the late Michael Crichton.

  • Oh yes, you're right. Koepp suggested the idea of a 'rescue mission' according to the wise and all knowing Wikipedia, which seems exactly like the plot to the Lost World. I'm glad to hear that Koepp wasn't responsible for so many tears and I'm devastated that he was eaten by a dinosaur so early in life.

  • Yes, at least he was still able to write the screenplays for Spiderman and Indy 4. Lol

  • thats not how u open the door, atleast he opened it half way through XD

  • om nom nom nom nom nom nom

    burp*

    HARCK!*

    coughs up random guys' BlackBerry...

  • "goodbye" 0:09

  • How did this film keep a PG-13 rating with the amount of violence and gore depicted? It's much more violent than the first Jurassic Park film. Not just with this scene, but how about when Eddie gets split in two by a pair of T-Rexes? Or, the guy that gets stepped on by a chasing T-Rex? Or, the guy devoured by Compies? Or the scientist eaten by a Rex at the waterfall? I could go on and on, but my point is that this film has more than enough violence and gore to push PG-13 to R in my opinion

  • Good question. When I saw this in the theatre in Iceland, it was only for audiences 16 and above, whereas the first movie was 12 years and above. I wonder why it was different in the US? It indeed is a much more violent film, though this is somehow one of the less gorier examples.

  • its about the amount of blood and language not violence....if the people in the film would have screaming fuck it would have pushed it to an R rating...or if every scene where a person gets killed and it would have been a lot of blood then it would have get an R rating...ok sometimes its violence and drugs to but its how the "Violence" is being used...like a guy with a chainsaw slashes a person is more terrifying than a dinosaur eating you up...Fiction and realism two diffrent things

  • Sorry, but the amount of content isn't always dependent on the film's rating. It's more often how far it pushes it. It's not always quanity, but quality. And, there are bloody scenes in The Lost World, not this scene, but other scenes...like those I mentioned in my other comment. The goriest scene of all is a toss up between the guy getting eaten by the Compies and the scientist getting eaten by the Rex at the waterfall. Both are quite bloody, as I recall.

  • As for fiction and realism...yes, they are two different things, but what has that to do with a film's rating? What about those gory zombie movies...which are usually rated R? That's fiction. And, what about Deep Blue Sea that has giant Mako sharks eating the scientists at that underwater place? It's also rated R. Okay, bad example since sharks really do sometimes attack and kill humans, but I was trying to come up with anything to get my point across.

  • This is my personal favourite part of the movie. It really is awesome and impacting.

  • in the end credits, they show his name in the movie as "unlucky bastard"

  • To be honest, anyone who gets eaten by a Dinosaur is an innocent bystander

  • that guy is actually david koepp who wrote the screenplay for the movie. He did many of spielberg's films

  • he also did Spiderman (not in the film)

  • Mmmmmmmmmmm Nerd meat!!!

  • I think it's the son of Spielberg, mmm

  • Is it just me or does he look a little like Andy Dick?

  • haha I wish I was that actor for the bystander

  • EPIC FAIL
