Thing is, the rest of us are happy to avoid tax when it comes to getting CDs and Blu-Rays cheaper via Amazon's Channel Island delivery route, most of us are happy for friends to buy duty free fags and aftershave for us but then we go mental when a rich person dares to legally make his tax burden less.

I'm not defending Green, just pointing out our hypocrisy as a society.

@estebanrey of course most, if not all, of us would be more than happy to avoid tax. but we don't. we all pay the proper amount of taxes, the rich multi-millionaires and billionaires excluded. there's no hypocrisy here, just plain logic.

@fblwl And how much do yout think those 'couple of CDs' are worth in terms of lost tax when you look at the entire population do it over the course of a year? Lots of people adding up to millions is no different to the tax man than 1 man avoiding millions, the net result is the same.

All I'm saying is given the chance we'll all avoid tax when we can,I suspect if most of us had clever accountants and a ton of shops and he said we could save money legally by doing something we'd do it..
