I am an enormous Obama fan, but, while I vehemently disagree with the actual Bush-McCain policy of "diplomatic isolation", I think the surrogate is right in her explanation of the quote. "Dealing with" does not necessarily mean "talking with", and he was saying that we cannot just ignore their presence, we must face it and react in some way, even though his current argument is almost in direct disagreement with that philosophy. It's like "Let's respond to them by not responding to them!"

Gawd, I can't stand David Schuster. First of all, the guy can't breathe through his nose, so he has to gulp air through his mouth, making his nostrils flair, lol... so difficult to watch. Secondly, since he became in the tank for Obama, he is far to emotionally involved and has proven he is unable to control his personal views, which is unfortunate, since I think he has the ability to be a good reporter otherwise.

In Canada, you have to wait several weeks to several months for doctor's appointments. There are emergency lines that are clogged up and you can be bleeding profusely while waiting 3 hours for treatment. And socialist countries have ridiculously high tax rates. The tax rate in Canada is almost twice that tax in the US, and even higher in Europe.
Socialist medicine is basically giving money to one big corporation for medicare: THE GOVERNMENT

The cost per canadian for healthcare is almost half of what Americans pay with private insurance.

The Canadian System in a nut shell. You pay taxes instead of insurance. You go to a doctor (a private business) or a Hospital (a private business) and they remit for the cost of the procedure. WOW it's a lot like an insurance company isn't it moron. Except the government is not allowed to make a profit on the backs of the sick. So if your system includes profit and ours doesn't how does it become more expensive in your little dream land?
