  • It was previously a VR6, hence the side mouldings.

    Rims are Schmidt Modernlines, 9x16 front and 10x16 rear.

  • VRT turbos are better ive hurd problems of valves melting past 300bhp on 1.8ts,  Oh and which sounds the best drives the smoothest. Should have slapped a R32 in there

  • i have no idea what you are talking about?? i have build 7 golfs myself and there is no way that your stock cams and rods will handle 600bhp.. No Way...

  • He is saying the engine was stock bottom except for rods and cams. Throw rods in these engines and they will handle gobs of power. Stock pistons have seen 600+. and to GrandMox, the valve-melting thing you have heard is a myth. There are tons of 300+ whp 1.8t's including mine (which is driven hard daily at these power levels) that have never had a valve burn up.
