I am looking for a formula to calculate a due date of 20 "working days" or "week days" from a date. For example: my report is due 20 week days days from the start date of 09/01/11. Can you help? Please?
i have a Q: is there a way to highlight dates that are for example 30 or 60 days past. I have to look throught several dates and mark when a client has been more than 30 late on paymente. is there a formula for this. thanks
how do i get excel to stop dropping the zero when i put in a certain date? Ex: I want my date to show up as 06-May and not 6-May but it refuses to keep the "0" everytime i put it in no matter what format i use. HELP!

is it possible for excels database to actually store dates. For example I want to create a database where i enter the dates employees have been absent, or on holiday. Is it possible to enter a date and for it to be stored somewhere else automatically?
Can you tell me what should I type if I want to minus? I couldn't really see the font in youtube video, even if I had it full screen, its still blurish.. so i'm pretty much taking up these tutotrials based mostly on your voice <_<

I think your videos are very helpful. If you would ,could you do a video on formulas. Like show us how to make up formulas and is there a chart of symbols like * means times. It would be helpful to know how to make simple and more complexed formulas. tks again.
Yes, you can click in the cell with the number you want to format. For example, you see 9.87654 but you just want it to round off to 10. You go to FORMAT > CELLS > NUMBER > and set the decimal to however many points you want -- in this case, 0.
9.87654 becomes 10 years old because it does round it off to the nearest 10th, but it still I like that I know this way because it's not that huge of a disparity.
i just wanted to say thank you for these videos... i have a job interview monday and it requires me to take an excel test to measure how well i do. i knew a little bit, but after watching these videos and trying the stuff myself, im compleatly confident. thank you so much.
Thank you so much. That is by far the nicest feedback I have ever received. Please let me know if you have any specific tutorial needs and I will see what I can do.

Is there a way to get rid of all the numbers that come after the decimal point?
If it can't be answered, that's fine.
I love the tutorial and I learn a very valuable skill.
Thanks!

Thank you for all these videos. It really helps to see a demonstration rather than read from a manual!! :)

You're very welcome. That's why I do them. I have always learned more from watching and following along than reading from a book.

Happy New year!
Yours is one of my favorite learning areas!
I am a 51 year old grandmother learning how to use the computer
and if it weren't for the tutorials that you and others take the time to put up,
I would never have felt comfortable on this machine...
I hope you realize how much you all mean to us of the "older" generation...LOL
Thanks
