@Yatsuhiko The only way a Captain America movie would be a hit is to keep him original, fighting nazis in WWII along with Sgt Fury. Nick Fury would also have to be the original, if you get my drift. Movie makers tend to stray away from the concepts too often and ruin the whole story. I guess only die-hard comics fans get upset over these things, but it can almost be compaired to Christains getting pissed about the DaVinci Code. Don't mess with our heroes.

i'm actually a little concerned about how good this film will be. i want it to be good enough to win oscars or something (you know, like ed brubaker's run which is winning lots of awards), but i'm not big on the writer they've got for the film. they originally had the guy that wrote Road to Perdition film which is great, but they replaced him with the guy that wrote the Chronicles of Narnia film. oh boy. i just wish that i had the same level of optimism as you do.
