Pedal Steel blows my mind- you guys that can play it- I have all the respect in the world for you. Its such a different beast than guitar.
Can you play the Wheel? Now that would be a mind blower. That is absolutely my favorite pedal steel of all time. great job- great info- keep up the good work!
"somewhere up north" wouldn't be New England would it? Probably got my friend Tommy Cass's fingerprints on it in the course of re-furbishing? I still own Tommy's first Emmons, in Rosewood, back when you could have "any color you want, as long as it was black" O;-) You made my ears smile, thank you.
Dear Mickey Thanks for your help in getting me started on pedal steel.I think I may need lifts for mty Carter Starter as with me knees in the levers, I have a hard time clearing the rods to the pedals whem moving my feet. What do you think?? Josh Golden
Surely Carter has a lift kit available. And yes, if your having trouble clearing it will be difficult to progress...Thanks for posting and tuning in Josh..Mickey
Mickey, this stuff is a model of clarity and help for beginners like me. I would gladly pay good money for an anthology of this stuff on disk! You are the man.... Will C
I'm just getting started on my Pedal Steel guitar journey - I really appreciate your videos and really enjoyed this one. Any of Ben Keith's work (Neil Young) would be appreciated - Thanks!

Thank you from New Zealand Mickey, while now convinced I will never play one of these machines, I love to watch and hear someone who can.
