Nah, the singer is Aoi Tada, the person who does the voice for Edward on Cowboy Bebop. Gabriela Robin is a band-member of 'The Seabelts' (Tank!), Yoko Kanno's band. Some speculate that Gabriela Robin is Yoko Kanno's pseudonym, though.

Actually Yoko Kano, makes a nice mixture of various languages to compose some songs, like this one, it has French, English, Corean*, Japanese, Chinese, in no particular order, and the result is amazing.
