What a disgrace you have no idea how angry this story makes me. My mother who is Jewish and my father who was black and Irish went through a similar ordeal here in the States. Hi Doreen, I've been tossing & turning all night unable to sleep, & now almost dawn here, I realize I won't sleep a wink until I've posted this (I was planning to think it through before posting... so much for plans).

My thought is, If the dad is a US citizen, then why not contact the US Embassy? I'm not a lawyer, but to my knowledge USA has a commitment to protect their citizens (& their children) worldwide & as far as I know their strict anti-abortion laws still apply. Best of luck. Runi.

The Social Worker Rachel Daudi said she wanted to speak to my Daughter urgently. She didn't care that my Daughter is not feeling well and is pregnant.

She said she is "unmoved" by this (but her legs were shaking) and wanted to know if my Daughter thinks this reaction is "appropriate".

I told my Daughter that if the SW wants to talk to the responsible person for the reaction to talk to me.

I spoke with my Daughter today. She told me unequivocally that she spoke to the Social Worker Rachel Daudi about getting my Grandson into a nursery school.

She *had* to speak with her about it because the system is set up that way, and you know it.

So, it was Rachel Daudi who arranged the "committee" and so she is a most responsible party in what transpired at that committee.
