I'm Brazilian and truly happy that Sean and his father are finally together now! The right side prevailed. I don't know how the relationship between Bruna & David was like but for me as any normal person anywhere in the globe as long as a biological parent isn't a criminal nobody's supposed to take away their natural right to raise their children! Plain and simple! I hope Sean will grow up as a nice and happy person after all he's been through in life while so young. God bless you, kid!!!
Brazil should not be known to the world as a nation to protect kidnappers. You need to let your voices be heard against these monsters who would do this to Sean. It is David's God given right to raise his child. The facts, the law and morality are on the side of David and Sean being reunited as soon as possible. The Lins e Silva and Rubiero clan cannot buy their reputations, and their reputations are in the gutter now. They have lost the respect of the entire world! Sean needs his father!
Oh, I don't think we ever doubted the Brazilian government, because they totally sided with David Goldman. I just think it's disgusting that the family of that "perra" keeps Sean away from David, and make false accusations about the boy's father -- he was abusive, destructive, etc. I'm sure that David is nothing like that, and that family should be ashamed of themselves to keep Sean away from his own father.

Sean Goldman should be with his dad. I just watched this story on Dateline and it's funny how Bruna's family came out with allegations that David was violent towards her after she & Sean were in Brazil.
David is in Rio right now. They had a hearing today 2/11/09 and I know he was able to see his son yesterday for the first time in 4.4 years. I'm hoping this time he'll bring his son home to New Jersy. My justice prevail at last in Brazil.
