Just because it handles well on a computer game, doesn't mean it's going to in real life.

Theres one thats on display during the day at a Ford dealership in Maryland and i went to help my mom pick out a new car and i couldnt stop staring at it. he had the engine cover opend and it looked so good.

I was heading off of the Bay Bridge, in front of me is a gray Bentley GT; sweet car, but out of the blue a same color Ford GT pulled between us; the Bentley was forgotten quick. I tried to pull up next to it, and the car moved so damn fast it was surreal.
I only thought about it because that was the first video to pop up when I put "Ford GT" in... Lamborghini Murcielago vs. Ford GT and quite frankly.... I'm not impressed.... A "Premative Ford V8 truck motor" out running a "High Tech Lambo engine"... More like Over rated lambo engine. ebay is the best place in the world to find the true "street" value of cars, and YES, sometimes it can be a good source of repair cost/class-problem information. Anyway, save 100K, and buy a Nissan GT-R. Then you'll see the difference between US design-tards and genuine artwork...
lolwut you were complaining about the cost of ownership for a Ford GT when the maintenance costs on a GT-R are ridiculous. All the work on a GT-R has to take place at a Nissan authorized dealership or the warranty gets voided. And not even all Nissan dealerships are authorized for maintenance so the owner would have to go to god knows where to change a damn tire.
The after-warranty costs for ANY super car are going to be enormous, because the design costs are only able to be spread over the limited number of cars made. (For the GT-R, that is 1500 this year) As far as the warranty period, I wouldn't let any BUT an authorized (and properly tooled) dealership. I think Nissan has about 700 dealers, so most of the "Big City" dealers will be tooled and trained. That is a condition of selling the car in the first place. Get your facts straight. Think McFly!

Jeremy Clarkson has always seemed so biased against American cars in most of his reviews and I always disliked him for it..Especially when defending RangeRovers against Grand Cherokees and such.lol But I always suspected he had a secret love for Americana.
The Ford GT is AMAZING and its about fucking time but I never would've suspected that as picky as he is he would give such a favorable review of a "Yank" car. Cheers Jeremy...you're alright man! Thanks for being truly objective!

dude seriously canada isnt that cold you should listen to the news in the summer it could get up to 30 centigrates which is about 89 F and thats as much as it get here in Miami sometimes....and not for anything they give away free healtcare and they are in a better position than us to get out of this recession so right now i dont mind living there....but apparently winter is cold as FUCK up there theyve got shit called snow and its like white sand and its reaaally cold

Except on cost of ownership apparently. From a current ebay listing for the Ford GT:
"..The car recently had a recall that led to the FORD dealer replacing the RICARDO transmission and the exhaust so both are brand new and the total cost for both installed was near $30,000.00 ...do not buy one of these cars without a warranty..."

P.S. The entire Chassis has 1 part number, and was only designed to withstand 35mph impact. Wreck this thing, and throw it away.

ebay is the best place in the world to find the true "street" value of cars, and YES, sometimes it can be a good source of repair cost/class-problem information. Anyway, save 100K, and buy a Nissan GT-R. Then you'll see the difference between US design-tards and genuine artwork...

lolwut you were complaining about the cost of ownership for a Ford GT when the maintenance costs on a GT-R are ridiculous. All the work on a GT-R has to take place at a Nissan authorized dealership or the warranty gets voided. And not even all Nissan dealerships are authorized for maintenance so the owner would have to go to god knows where to change a damn tire.

The after-warranty costs for ANY super car are going to be enormous, because the design costs are only able to be spread over the limited number of cars made. (For the GT-R, that is 1500 this year) As far as the warranty period, I wouldn't let any BUT an authorized (and properly tooled) dealership. I think Nissan has about 700 dealers, so most of the "Big City" dealers will be tooled and trained. That is a condition of selling the car in the first place. Get your facts straight. Think McFly!

thats totally wrong, my town is pretty much as some people call it a hill billy town casue we all drive pickup trucks, when the ford dealer ship got 3 of them in last winter they were gone before that working day even started. all this even made the front page news.

hmmmm. let me think about that a minute. your dealership somehow got an allocation of not 1..not2...but THREE GTs in winter of last year?..That's pretty good Considering that the Ford GT's last model year was 2006. Maybe you're thinking about the Ford MUSTANG GT, of which this thread does not pertain. The other possibility is that the dealer near you bought some used or stale inventory from a recently closed other Ford dealership, and then sold them via the internet? Anything is possible tho.?.

okay, it might not of been last winter i cant remember exactly what year, but it was definetely the gt because they had the dealerships General manager or some boss and salesman in front of all three. it probably was like two years ago cause that was when i was still getting the news paper delivered to my house until the paper boy figured out he was givng it to the wrong address.lol
