First off: Kil'Jaeden is not the leader of the Burning Legion, Sargeras is.

Second: In the fight Kil'Jaeden isn't nearly at his most powerful there. He is only partly in this world. If he had come to Azeroth with his entire body, the world would rip at the seams and Azeroth would end up like Outland.

Arthas had done shit and with a friend, touched the sword and Arthas fused with it, becoming on with Ner

Ner'Zul was once a orc warlock yes... but He was so powerful the Burning leigon thought of him to be very powerful... bringing him back to life and giving him a undead army to command called the scourge... he eventually broke free of the chains attached to him by the burning leigon and was to rule by himself... along with arthas.

Actually Kil'jaeden will ever introduce in a new expansion cause the history says: Kil'jaeden created the Lich King but after time the Lic King grew over Kil'jaeden's powers thats why Kil'jaeden wanted Illidan to kill Arthas before he got to the Lich King. But it failed and since Lich King introduces in the next expansion and hes stronger than Kil'jaeden, that means that Kil'jaeden cant get a expansion for him self and his out of the WoW history.

Technically Kil'jaeden doesn't die, the energies of the Sunwell just turn against him and suck him back through the portal that was the Sunwell. However the pendant he leaves behind when he "dies" to allow players to loot him must be linked to him and he being able to stay on Azeroth.
