Sorry it took so long to comment on you comment but, if you haven't took the trip yet, the trail is about 2 miles one way and is pretty steep in some places. It's not for anyone who has athsma or any cardio disorders of any sort. Wear appropiate hiking equipment. Thanks for commenting!!
nice video...im going to be rving on rt 33 from VA to Elkins, WV...how long would the stop take to take a walk up the trail to see the valley...is it a tough trail? Thank you
I dont think the gate is ever closed... At least i've never been there when it was. It was winter when I went there.
