Army 4 times bigger than Polish with many tanks. But russia were so weak, that they had to appoint an active duty 5,000,000 reserve soldiers... to catch up the 1st week of war with III Reich. Hitler was good strategist, but he wanted to fight on 2 fronts. Then, in 1944 there were 4 fronts. He had no chance to win.
