This is really good Afroberlin! I want to become a professional music producer like Avicii when i grow up. I was at his consert yesterday and i got so inspired! But i was wondering about how you make the volume of a sound raise more and more? For example at 1:15 too 1:29 ? =) Thank you:)
Afroberlin, I just came back from... Berlin 3 hours ago. It was an interesting place, met some very real people and some very fake. Anyway i asked you a question in a mail a few months ago. Would you answer them?
The stereo image seems kind of off to me, try listening to this with headphones and youll see. Your mixing pretty hot with no headroom, try backing the tracks off a bit and leveling things out a bit more. Really good music though :)
Decent track. I see some obvious flaws (I'm a producer too) but that's the beauty of music - what I see as a flaw could be intentional on your part. Overall a good track though.
@Afroberlin1 It's funny you replied. i wanted to ask you something, came looking and you already got back. Anyway that's cool which song/s? Also i have a track i write and produced i need a remix because i want to release threw bmsoho, i can send you the instrumental.
That is actually amazing. Do you think it is worth me buying cubase 6? I'm not going professional and probably won't make anything as good as this, but I will use it constantly.
And btw, If I didn't know this was done on Cubase, I wouldn't have believed anybody saying it was. It sounds too good, lol.
@Elite0960 Each DAW has a different workflow and they can all produce high quality tracks. Most allow you to download a demo version to try before you buy. This advice may be too late now :)
@Elite0960 I couldn't recommend a better piece of software. I use logic and I also use live. I used to prefer live as it was quicker for getting ideas down but now I've set up templates in Logic I'm finding that faster now. I use live for jamming and I wouldn't like to give up either :)
@Elite0960 I've not used pro tools. Most people I've asked say it's great for mixing if you're recording a lot of audio but they tend to prefer Logic for creating.arranging. I'm sure pro tools are going to improve in the midi and vst area but they're not quite there yet imo.
@CelticProgeny Basically yeah. For recording live music with lots of tracks being recorded its great. I'd have to say it's best if you're mic'ing up a live instrument but the midi isn't as good as cubase and logic. In the end, all of the music softwares have pros and cons; it's just picking the one which suites you I think.
@BSSchumacher My CPU is a Intel i5 760 and my soundcard is the audio kontrol 1 from native instruments. The glitches, crackles and pops due to camtasia which is not compatible with my audio kontrol driver so i had to utilize asio 4 all which isnt the best.
Well it's getting there. Some feedback you will may find helpful: The main piano riff is way too repetitive, the piano itself is fine just change the chord progression around occasionally. Add in more dynamics, drums fills! I heard some key build points that became flat due to a lack of drums fills. More sub bass would go along way and try introducing some changing synth leads. Not flaming just giving my honest opinion.
@Afroberlin1 Having said all that you have some nice production skills and your mix sounds really good. you definitely have the feel for house music though. Oh! a great trick that you will love is taking a pad and then side chaining it to a compressor using a kick drum track as a trigger. It creates this pumping pad vibe. Look it up man it's a neat trick. I wish you all the best with your track! =D
@RaVe4EvR122 Oh man thanks a lot! Concerning the sidechain just look at the first track and listen to the break i think its obvious there otherwise i didn't want the beat to pump that much...
@RaVe4EvR122 I agree. The piano riff should come out a little more to give more impact to the rises. But what do I know? I'm just a listener. Very well done. (oh I'm still learning)
SUper simplement j'aimerais faire comme toi maispersonne à le temps de m'aider ???

Hey, how do you create the "noise" sound? Is it a plug in? sounds great ;)

hi, i've a question: what cpu and sound card do you have to run all those tracks??

@BSSchumacher My CPU is a Intel i5 760 and my soundcard is the audio kontrol 1 from native instruments. The glitches, crackles and pops due to camtasia which is not compatible with my audio kontrol driver so i had to utilize asio 4 all which isnt the best.
