  • I'm a photojournalist, you're preaching to the choir. But I'm disheartened by your lack of familiarity with the law which you accuse the police of being. Judges DO have virtually absolute discretion (including photos and recording) of what occurs in their courtroom. They can have you jailed for refusing to remove your hat, chewing gum, wearing sunglasses, having a ringing cell phone, etc. PLEASE (for all our sake) choose your battles with more savvy! Film in the public hallways, not courtrooms.

  • What you do is file a law suit when the officer puts their hands on you in nay manner!

Then affidavit for obstruction of amendment rights, unlawful use of force and lack of knowledge of the law!

Next time bring a few members of your camera team and you enter the courts as a group. Especially if your covering someone of interest.

  • Good grief man, Texas is the most corrupt state next to the District of Columbia. Thats where LBJ, Bush, and other high level politicians hail from. Where do you think most of the drugs come through from Mexico? WHo pays off those cops and politicans to look the other way while its happening? I hope you win, but the odds are against you.

  • I am absolutely certain you are the biggest loser I've ever come across in all my years of life. Go get a life bonehead!

  • you seem to be full of threats, and whine a lot. In all your videos, you lose control of your emotions. In the airport tsa video you call the agents pedophiles, when you can't get them to react. That doesn't further an agenda, it just makes you look stupid. Learn how to protest and then make a video.

  • @ttaylor667 Can you give me the time marker in the video where I called them pedophiles as you state?

I'm not intested in provoking them or trying to "get them to react" as you state. I'm getting them to think, and getting the viewers to think about their ineffectiveness.

Of course if you have examples of the "right way" to protest where you have reached a similar number of people, then please share the video with us.

  • @obscuredtruth Hi Sam: Detroit TSA... Part 3 5:07 begins your diatribe, 5:29, 7:09, 7:30. I don't think you should stop filming, but you and Dave and the rest of the Free Staters seem to bounce like farts in a skillet, topic to topic. I am reminded of "We are the World" Everyone jumped on the band wagon to "feed Ethiopia" in the late 80's, because they were starving......guess what they still are! Why, because people never follow through. In the "free state" videos, you folks

  • never finish things. You go a block over and do something totally different. In your TSA video, you lost all credibility when you resorted to, name calling type taunts. The answer would have been to show up the next day with 5 people, then 20 people, then.... Protesting is all about public awareness and getting people to react. If you look at what swayed society on civil rights, it wasn't "I have a dream", the part that moved society was bloody Sunday, March 7, 1965. I have a dream was

  • #3 - a great speech, and started the ball rolling, but the public wasn't energized until they saw the images of 600 peaceful marchers being hit with clubs. You're a great videographer, but you don't make me want to turn off youtube and come help. On your plano video you appear to be tattling, rather than educating. Good luck to you and take it with a grain of salt If you would like to talk more, friend me and I'll send you my email. Regards Todd

  • @ttaylor667 You said I called the agent's pedophiles which is not true. You call it a rant, and my voice is calm. Then you result to personal insults. Sorry ttaylor667, what you said is simply not tree. Your seeing things that are just not reflected by reality.

Again, if you have examples showing us the right way to do it, and you get better results than us, then I'm all ears. Please, share your success stories. . . .

    Otherwise, try your trolling elsewhere.

  • @obscuredtruth My point exactly, you're pissed now because you got some criticism that you don't like. So I wonder what your agenda is? Is it accolades for Sam, advertising revenue, or is it actually changing things. If that's not good enough look at the rest of the comments. 6 months ago stealthgerm "so did you get your letter?" When were you going to follow up on Stealthgerm's question? So now who's really trolling - not me, I've watched most of your videos. regards T

  • @ttaylor667 Ok, now your ignoring the point I brought up. I never called anyone a pedophile. You can expand on your lie all you want. It won't make it any more true.

  • @obscuredtruth Hi again Sam: Per merriam webster - Pedophila : sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object. Sam Dodson on video to TSA agent in referring to full body scan 5:08 "save off images of naked children & share them around the dept" Sam Dodson 7:02 The TSA will become worlds largest producer, purveyor and consumer of child pornography". So if you weren't insinuating that they were pedophiles, what exactly were you saying? You didn't say "save off images

  • @obscuredtruth naked people", you specifically said "children" So then one would ask what would be the purpose of sharing these pictures of naked children if not for a sexual purpose? You really learn to control your emotions. I've only offered you some criticism. If you listen to your voice in the Plano video it shakes with anger. You try to racially bait the TSA security officer at 5:00ish. It all started when you weren't allowed to watch them go through your carry on. You lost

  • @obscuredtruth #3 control, and rather than end your video there, you try to bait them into anything regain control. You owned them up to that point. Then to end it, your original video of how you filmed the TSA turned into a blathering on full body scans. Consider how angry you are with me. Someone dared critique you, and you don't like it. For too long ppl have been telling you how great you are, and I pop up and say "you could be better". It pisses you off. Your emotions hold you back. If

  • @obscuredtruth #4 you want advice, cool. If you don't, go in peace. You can always get my email if you want it. Regards T

  • @obscuredtruth Hi again Sam: I forgot to mention that I never used the word "rant", and the intonation of your voice changed from calm to fear induced anger when your got your bag searched in the TSA video. If you don't believe me, contact a person that is skilled in VSA, and have them evaluate it. It is very hard to self critique, a third party might be your answer. Have a great day. Regards T

  • dude.. then you went to city council to try and argue to the worst of all of the scum

  • I hope they never sent you anything in the mail. I hope that because I know it would have pissed you off even more.

  • so did you get your letter?

  • AWESOME!

  • So what happened? Did you get the response in writing?

  • That was a waste of 6 minutes of my life.

  • haha, judges are just lawyers in robes, who only have the power we allow them to have!

  • @ 2minutes, cop says: "We're done talking/"

Then do as you chose. The corollary to freedom of association is the right to refuse association. The Cop said it and exercised that right. But he's a wimp because he needs government power to back up his inalienable right to freedom to associate and freedom to not associate.

Invisible contracts bind you in debted to government?

  • Continued... You don't know that govt uses invisible adhesion contracts that require you to be massively deceived in order for their fraud to be accepted.

In a nutshell, the massive fraud is that the government is indebted to you. You're a creditor to the UNITED STATES.

The government owes you. The national debt? The UNITED STATES owes it to you and everyone born in the USA.

To the international banksters, "get behind us, we're all fist-in-line creditors to the UNITED STATES".

  • aaw, love it. finally another person preaching the same message!

everybody needs to watch "its an illusion" and robert menards "the magnificent deception"

like the bill of rights says; it gets its "just" power from the "consent of the governed."

and as i state in my nui/cor; "if i have the power to elect someone to protect me, then i have the power to protect myself"(something like that)

remember we outnumber any amount of foreign troops! martial law will fail!!!

  • Glad to have you on our side Sam.

  • there are tons of bureaucrats thinking this and that...

programmers are for liberty and the future is ours

coders unite and fight the piggies away - together we can

  • If you are going to lean on the U.S. Constitution, you should read and study it first. Your arguments in your video have no weight or foundation in the Constitution. No where does it guarantee the right to record video in a court room. You can publish your frustrations and lies. That is freedom of press but accusing the cops of not enforcing the Constitution is an empty and pointless argument. You are like a child not getting his way and having a temper tantrum. Adults will just ignore you.

  • It appears as though YOU have not read anything, almost ever, to come up with that bologna.

  • Of course the Constitution does not guarantee the right to video a court proceeding, video cameras did not exist at the time the Constitution was written. But, the guarantee of open trials is really frustrated by the ban placed on cameras by judges. What do they have to hide?

  • neither were fully automatic weapons but they are legal in some places..?

  • Zen Guy is right. The voters in the City of Plano elect the Judge to interpret the law in their city. There is no written law or provision in the Constitution that can supercede a decision to ban cameras from his courtroom. News Media and Press understand this. That is why they hire a sketch artist to draw O.J. Simpson, Jeffrey Dahmer, or other losers in court. The "obscured truth" and rantings of a YouTube kook with a $89 camera from Target who thinks he is Geraldo Rivera does change it.

  • The Judge is legally authorized to interpret the meaning of the written law and U.S. Constitution, not some unemployed and socially dysfunctional wannabe who isn't qualified to manage a car wash or paper route.

  • Just a L-O-S-E-R with an obscure interpretation of the truth who twists facts and circumstances to accommodate his own perverted agenda. No cop in this video ever SAID he was not willing to enforce the Constitution of the United States. This guy is a very small and insignificant mouse, nipping at the feet of an amused lion. He has no authority or legal basis for his empty threats. The collective Plano Police are some of the finest professional law enforcement officials in the world.

  • I applaud your work sir. I know not every cop is bad, but there are more bad apples in the bunch lately.

  • So did anything come of that??

  • he may be right about taking his camera to film his trial, but he's not accomplishing anything by appearing to be a trouble making provocoteur.

  • how in the name of big ball sacks is he appearing to be a trouble maker? YOU have been molded into thinking his actions are "socially unexceptable" intentially, by the same system thats bending you over.

  • this guy is a jittery attention seeking loser, that needs to get a life. "force against me" give me a break.

he is creating friction so he can have something to whine about rather than actually something to whine about. i.e. hes a prick.

  • What an idiot. Stupid people should just forget to breathe. I wish he would just lay down and die.

  • this guy is great!!We need more like him!!this world will be a better place

  • so what happened?

  • did anything happen to the officers in this video?did you get your letter?

  • amazing boldness and bravery--thnak you for your dedication to the Bill of Rights

  • .......Great vid. They're probably thinking "this guy might sue the city now"

  • I think those who are following this guy and his distorted views, need to know that he has cut and spliced his video tape and audio to make ridiculous accusations of these officers. Notice how he is selective in what he records and doesn't.

    Very pathetic

  • Michele,

I'm that guy, you can call me Sam. Can you tell me which part I "cut and spliced" specifically? The 4 segments I played for the city council were raw and unedited.

Did you actually watch the video, or are you just parroting what the bureaucrats at work told you to believe? You may find this hard to believe but people find bureaucrats rambling on rather boring.

What I find pathetic is government's willingness to hurt people to get it's way. Of course you don't do that do you?

  • Have you gotten a response from them?

  • The only response was having the police contact me about a complaint, so the Plano Police Propaganda day video was my next step.

It now sits right under Google's search results for Plano police. :) Then I wrote them again pointing this out, extending the offer to talk. Nothing. . . .

Why should they care? They have guns and so called "authority"

  • What bothers me the most is the inability for them to even take a position on the matter. The govt. is weird, it's almost like a consciousness that they are all a part of, but none of them seem to be able to influence. Reminds me of the ridiculous plot of metal gear solid 2. I hope you have better luck in NH. I've recently moved to upstate NY, maybe if I move again, I'll go over that way.

  • You're doing great work and may God be with you! It would be nicer if the camcorder wasn't focused on the officer's (criminal's) crotch so long. You should either gather your courage to train it on their faces or edit out those parts. Also, for those of us not familiar with the Texas constitution, you should quote the part pertaining to bringing a camera into the courtroom and explain it. Just my 2 cents.

  • Looks like the Council's use of children as "human shields" (hoping there'd be no controversial subjects brought up in front of them) seems to have backfired, lol!!!

  • Well, that's just it. In doing this activism. I've learned that the bureaucrats have separated themselves from their acts of violence.

They truly believe they are out doing great things. When confronted with the violence carried out by others in their organization, they will deny, avoid, or shut down.

Many of them have staked their livelihood on government, and to pointing out the "gun in the room" is a shocking experience for them.

  • stupid afro-bozos haven't nary a fucking clue.

  • LoL, no they don't have to answer any questions about law in a court room. That is why you hire a lawyer for.

Also the judge can just say, "ignorance of the law is no excuse." And that he is not there to explain the law to you.

If you think he is, I say throw the book at you befoer you end up on some video here at youtube getting beat down by cops that have had enough of your ignorance.

  • I'm not asking him to explain the law. I'm asking him to explain the proceedings he's forcing upon me. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless your the government, you mean. That statement applies to common law, i.e. Don't cause harm, and your not breaking the law, not your current runaway legal system.

So you believe people who question the system or don't understand something should be locked in jail or beaten by police. That's nice, you wouldn't happen to be a bureaucrat would you?

  • No saying if you want to learn law or proceedings, go to law school. We don't pay these judges with tax dollars to sit and teach people law and proceedings.

  • I would rather push for private competing arbitration services that would strive to make the process earlier and more effective at finding the most equitable solution for all parties involved.

Your argument is against the government for threatening to take your house if you don't pay for this crap.

  • what if we don't want to pay the taxes to support this tyranny.... what then, throw us in jail?

  • they did it to wesley snipes the actor

  • Keep it up! Go after the officers bond!! File impersonating a public official since he is no longer an officer but a criminal when he said that his job is to do whatever the judge tells him to do. Since the other officer had a loaded gun when he assaulted you it now becomes aggraveted assault. Good Luck and take the criminal complaint to the grand jury.

  • where is the follow up vid?

  • It's in the mail with my check! :)

I just finished uploading part one. It should be out shortly. . .

  • prayer pledge of allegiance boy scouts they were all sitting there believing they participate in being beautiful people and Sam!..you just ruined their day. i can't get that picture outta my head of them just sitting there. did they interrupt at all?? im in a mix of wow/pathetic/sarcastic chuckling and sneering and a whole lot of damn!

  • typical fascist pigs...trust me most these guys would have no problem killing another American when asked to do it.

  • You're a hero! We need more people like you who show what really is happening in this country. I thank you for everything you have done and all the time you have spent.

  • Outstanding again, Sam. You've got them in a defense position and they don't know how to deal with it. You'll probably get some kind of apology letter written by their city attorney. They need to man-up and talk with directly and agree to resolutions. Never give up. They are sooo wrong.

  • well done sam.

  • Thank you for standing up for your rights Sam. I'm looking forward to seeing what the city council does.

  • How did the city bureaucrats see your video? Did you hook your camera up to a projector?

  • I'm confused. Where does the Texas Bill of Rights say you can bring a camera into a courtroom?

  • If they don't have anything to hide what's the problem?

  • Watch his first video, and you'll see the the 2nd ammendment to the Texas Constitution.

It includes the statement "The faith of the people of Texas stands pledged to the preservation of a republican form of government, and, subject to this limitation only, they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient."

  • I think bringing a camera into a courtroom is reasonable and expedient, and in line with their bill of rights. It's also reasonable to bring in a camera without backing it by their bill of rights.

But Sam, what if you thought it was expedient to bring in a Jack Russell terrier instead of a camera? Does the man named Judge™ have the ability to control what happens in his court?

If not, why not wear a rainbow wig and clown shoes too? Where does the Judge™ get to draw the line, if at all?

  • Excellent question. First, realize the problem is the government's mandated monopoly courts everyone is forced to use.

With private competing arbitration companies, I could demand one that allows cameras, and they could demand one with no clown suits and barking dogs.

In government one size MUST fit all courts, Judge decides (conflict of interest), and that's the problem.

I think it's okay if the proceeding are not disrupted. I should even be able to wear a black dress, just like Judge.

  • Batman schmatman. You're my hero!

  • Go Sam, you are the man. I like that you speak clearly, calmly and are very lucid in your speach. You are a very dangerous man. I love it.

  • wow, even though I didn't like how you talked with he police officer when you got the ticket, I love what you did at court and at the City Council Meeting.

[Plano has a beautiful council room btw]

One last note, Boy Scouts are required to attend a City Council Meeting to get one of there Eagle Required Merritt badges.

  • Keep it up! Man are you outnumbered though! It is like the whole world is brainwashed or something!

  • Well most came up in government run public schools where they stood up every day and swore an oath to the state, and were taught to stand on your X and do as your told. (Respect authority)

In a sense, they are brainwashed with years of ineffective misinformation fed to them by the other bureaucrats. The saddest part to me; It's all done with good intentions.

  • Sam, I got chills watching this. Excellent!

  • Hell yeah sam!

  • You got a pair the size of watermelons man.

  • Sam's videos are great and professional quality.

  • It's always interesting to me to study the body language of people. Hands under the chin for one....the other sitting back on his chair...those people don't want to hear what you have to say. I really hope you get somewhere with this...and do so without harm to you. I applaud you for speaking and showing truth to power.

  • You Go!!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

WE will change this world, one act at a time!

  • god i love these videos.

you are doing absolutely incredible work my friend, that takes a lot of marbles.

keep up the fight for real liberty, not fake amerikan police state fascism liberty....

  • Here in the Socialist Wasteland of California, our city council is free to completely ignore anything the public brings to the city council meeting that's not on the agenda due to their warped interpretation of the Brown Act. I'm guessing there is as similar rule for your council.

  • Well I don't have a council. Their company has a council, but I don't have any formal relationship other than them sending me a bill, if I refuse to pay, they steal my house and put me out on the street.

They have the silly agenda rules, and they were not allowed to respond to anything not on the agenda, like my session. Plus if they put something on their agenda, then I can't speak on it.

I'm sure it's for good reason, but it's simply a consequence of a failed system.

  • Now this really bothers me.

I am in total agreement with you that it is not your city council. I have heard you describe on FTL how you correct people when they try to attribute ownership of "your trial" or "your court date" as they do. Yet I made the same error when referring to "your council."

I am usually one to notice such details in speech, but this stuff is so pervasive, it's scary. Thank you for pointing this out time and time again.

  • I know exactly what you mean. I'm still catching myself missing a "My ____" here and there. I talked about this in a post at Freekeene, even using the word The to describe gov. functions:

"The Judge", "The Government", The Supreme Court"

They all work to reinforce the monopoly status of government mandated services in the minds of those that hear it.

Words are power. I think it's well worth paying attention to the specific ones I use.

  • Holy cow, Sam. I'm loving these videos. Very well done and the message is right. I'm even more excited to listen to Free Talk Live episodes now just to hear your stories. Keep up the good fight.

  • Damn Sam! I wish I lived closer! I'd love to be going in there with you... I think I heard a lot of crickets at the city council meeting! Hopefully, you taught some scouts and the council members something about Rights and Liberty!

  • Those council schmucks probably have no clue what's going on. I can guarantee most of them aren't familiar with the Texas Constitution either.

    Great video.
