  • I left school the year this came out and so some of the words are rather pertanent to Me.."take Yor hands off Me I don't belong to You ,You see" etc,etc Best decision I ever made

  • marc is fab!

  • yes i like listening!!!

  • great video to one of the most amazing songs.

  • Chorus is stunning! Makes the hair stand up on my tache!

  • once heard that knob steve wright comment on this and david grays version, demonstrating once again how little he knows, always a great song

  • Marc's voice is special

  • forget the video!!!!!!! This is the original song , which is the important fact. This is a classic song of a Genre.magical.

  • I loved the original video back in 1981 or something...this is a bit watered down. have always loved his voice though. Listen to Tears Run Rings...

  • I didn't appreciate Marc Almond at the time he released this and other wonderful songs - being a BOF I thought Dylan was the man, but Marc is a supreme poet. Great song.

  • dear jim i'd like u to fix it for me to shake marcs hand b4 i die

  • @kmjwakey great comment. I would agree. This song is helping right now. Break down and break up and all.

  • @jenescarlett1

As far as I know Marc Almond and Dave Bell (Soft Cell) wrote this song. 'Tainted Love', 'What' and 'Where Did Your Love Go' where not Soft Cell originals but I'm almost certain this was.

  • @houzbizness303 Quite correct...Tainted Love was released in 1965 by Gloria Jones and was written by Ed Cobb..The soft cell version however sold far more copies and made Marc Almond and David ball stars...Say hello wave goodbye was written By Marc and David and is a better song.

  • i saw him just last week he still looks so young as he did in the 80,s

  • The rain tells the story....

  • Soft Cell wrote this song but this is not the original video, the original video has Marc as a night club singer sat on a bar stool singing whilst Dave Ball waits outside the Pnk Flamingo night club in the rain, with two dwarfs popping champagne.

  • @jenescarlett1 This isnt a cover its a soft cell orginal.

  • its a good bit of talent and songwriting that sadly is lacking today

  • me encanta esta cancion por un tiempo me hizo llorar tanto .

  • Beautiful video

  • oooooosh!

  • @jenescarlett1

Soft cell were the original mate

  • @jenescarlett1 Yes, Marc's soulful lyrics mix so well with the synthesizers. Pure human emotion against electronics, yet the electronics perfectly accompany Marc's soul.

    Superb music.
