  • wow!

  • haha gotta love the wind

  • 1 person is hanging off of an ugly noose....

  • @YouveGotFAIL are you kidding?! they did good here!

  • Cornell is a godly singer!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I swear, Kim looks like a god

  • @acdc2196 Hes the only reason there is wind on stage in this video

  • love this song. great work. storm a moving in? i remember korn in a downpour. best pit you ever saw. clumps of muck raining like rain.

  • fuck yea - just like the description

  • It's a shame that you can find an excellent quality performance of every single song Nirvana ever performed at any concert, but you can find barely any decent SG live recordings. I love Nirvana, but I SG too.

  • duck

  • i have to take a shit now i'll brb

  • Now that is one talented band!

  • when did they make this concert?

  • Sometime in 1996

  • Wow he's hitting it right on. I cant wait for the next tour. Soundgarden reunited!!! 2010!!

  • kim looks so awesome every time his hair blows in the wind

  • ..AND whether or not he failed in conveying the sound he desired he's nonetheless got guitars on every song and if you took the time to check out the live versions they're broken down to be decent if not really really good rock songs without the beats, the point of the album was to be one continuous flow of music and well enough said man Cornell remains as one of the realest most brilliant musicians out there today, and forever. This and my previous post were directed to zorinkima. Viva Cornell

  • he has not sold out you prick.

genre resisting is what cornell would like to be most notorious for besides being one of the best lyricist-vocalists in history.

with all that he's done with SG and Audioslave I'm not saying he can do something terrible on purpose but he certainly has cemented a legendary legacy of rock and if he wants to try something a bit different that's fine by me..real Cornell fans get it. He was going for something along the lines of a psychadelic pink floyd type sound..

  • @edubecks07 Yeah I now realize that he not a sellout for trying something new, even though I don't like it, he still is far from a sellout.

  • thanks. haha

  • Soundgarden was one of those bands where every member was superb at what they did.

  • @tomtom255 yes I agree all of them are amazing. Chris Cornell = one of the best frontmen in rock. Kim=one of the best guitarist. Ben = one of the best bassist and Matt=one of the best drummers hellooo pearl jam and Soundgarden

  • @tomtom255 I have to edit my previous comment-Soundgarden IS one of those bands where every member IS superb at what they do. I saw them at the Comcast center last weekend, probably one of the best shows I have been to hand down. Totally annihilated my eardrums

  • ROCK AND ROLL grunge SOUNDGARDEN very goo band SO GOOD SONG

  • <33333333333

  • what was Chris saying at the beginning of this?

  • "Well, at least the rain waited for us to come out. As far as the lightning goes, DUCK!"

  • lol, thanks

  • wow this sounds great live. I thought it would be more of a Nirvana thing where Kurt hardly moves his mouth at all, which sounds amazing anyway.

  • great song

  • I Love Song The Music Number 1# SoundGarden

    but Bad Hight Quality HAHA!!!

  • one of the last rock gods n he just sold out.....

  • I don't know what you guys are complaining about.

Chris is great here, the only things that suck is the audio quality and the camera shakin.

  • Damn, Chris Cornell sucks balls live.

  • Wtf are you talking about?

This is perfect. Just like the studio version.

Only difference is that there's no doubling on the chorus line.

  • which planet do u come from...mate its obvious that most of the detail and quality is lost through this shitty recording, if u've ever been to a concert u'd know that he kikcks ass bad with his 4 octaves belter

  • Yeah, he couldn't sing this one live at all. I'll give you that. Have you heard anything pre-1996 though? More often than not Chris nailed everything. See 1/18/94 in Sydney, for example.

  • There is still some good music around, you just have to put effort looking for them and dont rely on tv (mtv, vh1 etc) or radio. There are other ways, like the interweb, simple!

  • I'd recommend some TV On the Radio, for anybody that has grown jaded with the current state of the "music" that's been being pushed out. They are a 100% fucking EXCELLENT band.

  • Stone Temple Pilots already came back.

Now it is just Soundgarden's time to do the same.

    And Led Zep too hahaha

  • YEAHHHHHHHHHH THIS ROCK AND ROLL THE VERY BEST OF THE MUSIC SOUNDGARDEN so good

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!

    ......and no freakin' Timbaland.

collaborate with living colour and all will be forgotten

ps-glasgow barras bootleg 95 rules nearly as much as blur queens hall dunoon september 13th 1995 with sir bernhard chomley supporting them .see you all at hyde park in july!

  • Damn! Somebody that actually like Living Colour more than I do! Heh heh

  • Oh my God!

    I'd better check my shorts!

    I love this song LIVE!

  • man these guys were awesome, i hope to god they come back

  • BRING SOUNDGARDEN BACK PLEASE!!!

  • Why can't rock music be like this. Music now of days is so artificial. Imo the last great bands were Audioslave, System of A Down, and Pearl Jam. Rage dosen't make anything anymore. Chris Cornell's new album is shit. Let's just hope for a Soundgarden reunion to save Chris Cornell's carerr.

  • and Alice in Chains, TOOL and the Deftones.

  • and nirvana, stone temple pilots, smashing pumpkins: the greatest grunge bands!

  • Where have you guys gone?

I went through the Hollywood Rock Club scene opening for Grundge bands in the 90's...

    I lived this!

    Come back!

  • Listen to Cornell's pipes, I fucking love this song. This band needs to settle their differences and come back.

  • maybe they didn't understand their notability

  • uhh...in Phoenix that is.

  • Any idea where this was and what year? I saw them at Lollapalooza in '97, I think it was, and it was raining and windy there too.

  • that is definately a fuck yeah!

  • holy shit! he can sing this song!

  • it's like the black hole sun coming to wash away them

  • Please release a live record or dvd. PLEASE!!!

  • That was wierd the way Shepard kicks his legs.

    anyway cool fuckin performance.

    don't know about Epic tho

  • This video is epic with the wind moving all, almost like "going to rain", just AMAZING, but that's a shame that happened at minute 2:55 :-(

  • Snaky weird guitar riff with a bluesy sounded jive singing melody on top of it. Play the guitar part with one finger lol. Makes some more complicated bands look stupid lol.

  • OH MY GOD.... <3

  • I caught the moon today.

What do you mean "to a doctor"?

I just don't like what you got me hangin' from, that's all.

  • The extra wind just made it that much more epic looking.

  • this is an "IMMORTAL" song alongside black hole sun and say hello to heaven

  • fucking right!!!!! these guys need to release a live record.....and everyone says cornell cant pull it off live....i'm sure there is a live record in the can
