i can almost get the instant induction really good now. i am getting better. sometimes it helps to take like 30 seconds before to talk them into it though
@borissaid123 No, you do not always need a traditional pre induction discussion. Whether you do or not depends on the eviornment, the situation and the person whom you plan to hypnotize. However, the moment you engage your volunteer it's a pre-talk (non-traditional). With rapid inductions, everything about your initial interaction shold be considered pre-talk.
@mihcyk1 Yes, that is correct--He did not expect to be hypnotized. If you read the accompanying text that discusses the video, you will learn more background on exactly what transpired.
@Michigan1985 It's not about copying what you see in this video (for each instant and rapid induction used during street hypnosis is different depending on the person and what type of method the hypnotist chooses to use). In order to do these types of advanced inductions properly and consistently well, you must take time to learn the basics of hypnosis and then learn to apply the advanced level skills properly. You can learn these skills here: KC2XL(dot)COM
I tried putting one of my friends into hypnosis but did not do anything to him and he said he could not move and all he saw was white was he in a trance? And can you put a tut for fast induction I really want to learn more like you I had to talk a while
your so cool dont you have to get the volenteer to relax then vocus on one spot and say like their eye lids are getting heavier and heavier and stuff im a beginner havent tried on a person yet but i will :) thats one method i know
@OWNAGE7634 Cool, aye? LOL Thank you! Now, regarding your question: There are many different ways to hypnotize a person. Using eye fixation (eyes focused on one spot), followed immediately by eyelid relaxation (and possibly eyelid lock or eyelid catelepsy [i.e., volunteer cannot open eye lids]) is only one of the traditional appraoches to hypnosis. There are many elegant and exciting ways to effectively hypnotize people other than using eye fixation and eyelid relaxation/catelepsy.
@KC2XL yea or like when you do instant induction when you startle them and then say sleep ? like if you say shake my hand and focus on like a spot on my face then pull their arm towards you and say sleep right?
@OWNAGE7634 Not quite, the method you mentioned there (focus on a spot on my face) still uses basic eye fixation. Eye fixation is almost always a good way to start an induction or at least a good basic element to include in an induction. But there are many other ways to do rapid inductions. For more information on how to do instant inductions check out my website here: KC2XL(dot)com
I have a question. What if the subject doesnt know you are about to hypnotize them? Would they still fall into a trance? Like say you just meet someone and you do the "handshake induction" on them would they cooperate and fall into the trance? Thanks so much!
Hello again! i have seen a str hypnosis video when the hypnotist stops a person in a mall and instantly makes the induction on the subject. here comes my question:
from what i've learned, i understood that the hypnotist must prepare the subject for the hypnosis. Like when you explain whats hypnosis in fact and about the word "sleep" wich isn't about the night-time sleep. if you don't prepare the person, how can you hypnotize him just like that? is trust enough?
@redyoshi93 There are many physical and natural reactions that occur when person is in the state of hypnosis that cannot be faked (to name a few: lacrimation, flushing, body temperature changes, eye movement, reaction particular suggestions/ambiguity). By looking for manifestations of these in people, you can easily determine whether a person is truly in the state of hypnosis.
@redyoshi93 The timing of when you say sleep and the volume of your suggestion (as long as it is reasonably audible) are not as important as understanding how to rapidly prepare a client for entering the state of hypnosis. There are techniques that must be used quickly in order to build expectation and to establish conditioning to help a client rapidly enter the state of hypnosis. This is not something that can be explained in a few sentences. You must study and practice to learn these things.
@srkeam It's called a rapid induction (a method of guiding a person into a state of hypnosis rapidly). Yes, it's real. If you want to learn how to do this (also called street hypnosis), I teach how to do this in my 2-DVD hypnosis set. You can read about it and order it here: KC2XL(dot)com
@traktorimees You can learn these techniques in 2-3 days (for example, during one of my instant and rapid inductions courses), but it requires regular practice to hone your skills.
i want to do this to my teacher on 6th period class so that we dont hve to listen to my teacher blab so much. then we could just say he passed out. bcuz then he wouldnt know wat happened! ROFL
i would really love to learn these ways to hypnotize people... especally the conversation hypno... but i dont live in Amerika, so i cant go to any of your classes, and i really dont have the money to buy all the CD's and all the stuff from Hypno websites...
do you have a site or something where i can start learning for free ?? i would really appreciate it !!! :D:D
Thank you. Many certification teachers require students to be of legal age (the age one is considered an adult or can legally enter binding contracts). However, some exceptions for younger students can be made, if the parents or guardians provide legally documented permission to allow the young student to attend the class for certification. In other words, the age at which a person can be certified depends on the discretion of the certification teacher and the student's parents (guardians).
Due to the way hypnosis is presented to the general public (though hypnosis stage shows or via TV / cinema) new hypnotists tend to believe that therapeutic hypnosis is only about putting a person in a hypnotic state and saying the correct thing to them via suggestion. This is incorrect.
When dealing with complex issues such as smoking, self-confidence, motivation, etc. you must understand what helps/hinders a person to reach his goals then you must focus on breaking/reinforcing good patterns.
Just forming suggestions is not enough to help a person stop smoking if you haven'd discovered/dealt with what they think they gain from smoking and/or will loose by stopping (just to name 2 of many things to consider).
The course I attended gives a pretty specific procedure. First they go through the day with someone getting every time/location they smoke. Then they get other times they might smoke. Then they do a parts integration pattern, then a swish pattern for each and every location. Then they do a formal induction and some PHS since its all been conversational and the client expects something more traditional.
hello, i have been studying and practising hypnosis for about three months now. have hypnotised one of my friends to stop smoking, with some succes. now i would say that she only smokes about to 25% of what she used to smoke.
but here is the question. the person i hypnotized (practised on) was someone whith whom i speak a different languige with. and i have got another friend who now wants to be hypnotized too. and he speaks english this time.
When clients request past life regression (PLR), occasionally they will ask the hypnotist whether PLR is real. I advise my hyponsis students to keep their personal beliefs about PLR private and to allow the clients to form/maintain their own view of PLR (as long as the clients' view of PLR does not hinder the process of personal development).
Whether PLR is a symbolic experience or a real regression to past life is not as important as whether it is an experience that helps the client.
If a client believes that he/she can be regressed to a former life AND if that client is helped by the experience of PLR, then a hypnotist should not break the client's belief of the reality of PLR by stating a contradictory opinion. Similarly, if the client believes PLR is symbolic, then the hypnotist should allow the client to belive it is symbolic. By contradicting the client's opinion of PLR, the hypnotist might deter the client from using PLR--a tool that might have been quite beneficial.
is it possible to hypnotize a student by saying you will forget everything except to read, write and remember what you have studied for the past 1 year until your examination ends
Hypnosis can be used quite effectively to help students concentrate, learn and focus while studying. However, the process you described is not how hypnosis works when dealing with complex issues such as concentration and studying. Helping a person improve studying requires more than just telling a hypnotized student that he will study well and remember everything. The hypnotist must help the student break negative patterns and reinforce positive patterns that increase motivation and focus.
Yes, you can hypnotize yourself. It's called self-hypnosis or autohypnosis. Before using self-hypnosis, you should work face-to-face with a hypnotist who will teach you self-hypnotize by:
(1) explaning hypnosis to you;
(2) hypnotizing you, so you will know how to recognize the state of hypnosis; and
(3)showing you how to enter the state of hypnosis by yourself.
NOTE: The states of self-hypnosis tend to be lighter than the deep states of hypnosis achieved with a hypnotist.
I'am not sure where heard this but are lucid dreams a form or type of hypnosis. Is there a difference between the feeling of being hypnotised and having lucid dream?
Excellent question! The state of lucid dreaming is similar to what some people feel when they experience hypnosis. However, the state of lucid dreaming and the state of hypnosis are not the same. Please note that there are many ways to experience/perceive hypnosis--Not all people experience hypnosis the same way.
Say I was at a party and my friend walk over to me and wanted me to hypnotise him. Could I perform an instant induction and he could go into a trance? Or would I need to do a long talk and get him/her to imagine a road that goes down and that and relax him gradually? I'm a kind of newbie to hipnosis, so don't think I'm stupid.
Hypnosis seems easy on the surface, but there is much more to it than just saying a few words to someone. Just like any skill, you must take time to learn it. Instant and rapid inductions are advanced techniques. If you want to learn to hypnotize people consistently and well, then I recommend starting with the basics. Learn a progressive relaxation induction, then move into a traditional Elman Induction. From there you can learn rapid inductions.
Whether you would require a long induction or a short induction to hypnotize your friend would depend mainly on your hypnosis skill level and your knowledge of hypnosis.
I will be releasing one this Fall. If you haven't yet, I recommend joining my (free) Hypnosis Newsletter which will announce the release of my video. You can join here: kc2xl(dot)com
The price is not yet set, but will be quite reasonable.
i'd like to point out ive seen some of ur videos and im astonished! ive researched hypnosis countless times in my life and yet i can never get anyone in a trance i always use rapid or instant inductions can u give me a few pointers?
Some of the most important things to consider when doing instant and rapid inductions (aside from safety, which is always the main concern), are:
1. Properly developing expectation and understanding and
2. Clearly directing your volunteer or client.
In August, I will be releasing a DVD on instant and rapid inductions. You should join my (free) Hypnosis Newsletter so you will be notified when it is available. Also the news letter will give you hypnosis tips. Sign up here: KC2XL(dot)com.
I'm a history/student teaching major in college, but I also take a side course in psychology. My grades in it are lacking a little behind my standards. My teacher told me if I was able to hypnotize someone in the class, he'd buff up my grade a little, so I have a few questions.
Is instant induction different than covert hypnosis? By this method, is it possible to do the classic, "When I snap my fingers, you will be a monkey"? Finally, about how long does it take to successfully do this? Thanks.
The terms instant and rapid inductions apply to the time it takes to guide a person from a waking state into a state of moderate to deep hypnosis usually by using inductions where you can clearly see a person physically relax.
Covert (or conversational) hypnosis occurs while a person is unaware that he or she has become hypnotized--there is an absence of dramatic relaxation (postural slumping).
If you are just learning hypnosis and you plan on doing stage-hypnosis type demonstrations for your class, then I recommend that you use one of the traditional inductions such as Progressive Relaxation or the Elman Induction. Although instant inductions look simple, they require a strong knowledge of hypnosis to do efficiently and consistently well.
I will be releasing a DVD on how to instant inductions soon. For more info, join my newsletter at KC2XL(dot)com.
During my History class, I learned about a man, who in 1947, made it past 75,000 well trained Soviet guards, by showing them a blank piece of paper that they believed to be an ID card. He did so by using some form of hypnosis. What form of hypnosis did he likely use?
If the story occurred as you heard or read it it is likely that the man showed one guard who was responsible for checking papers to let him pass (as opposed to showing the blank paper to each of the 75,000 guards). If hypnosis was used, then it would most likely be conversational (covert hypnosis).
Well, the first part was pretty obvious. It would have taken him days to show it to all of them. :P
Ah. So is conversational hypnosis any harder than progressive or Elman? Because I'm probably going to opt out for the easiest one. Other than your newslist, can you show me some stuff on how to do the easiest, because I already subbed. Thank you so much for your help, I'm desperate at this point (As you can probably tell, I no absolutely nothing about hypnosis, so I greatly appreciate your help.)
XFlex9, you should read the text that accompanies the video (click "more info" located to the upper right of the screen under the subscribe button).
The "thing" I was referring to is that he had just finished filming me hypnotize his friend Junior. This induction began immediately after I took the camera out of his hand, handed it to Junior and asked him to film what was about to happen. Galo didn't know I was about to hypnotize him. I had never hypnotized Galo before this induction.
right, i get the instant induction thing, but do u have to hypnotise them before this with a different technique, so when u say sleep they sleep or can u just make them sleep instantly by using this instant induction ?
No, this is not a re-induction. What is shown in this video is the first time I ever hypnotized him. This is the first induction that I ever did with him.
It may work, but I still find this type of induction possibly very dangerous. Doing this to someone who has an injury or some medical condition could cause some serious problems.
This is why it is important to ask people whether they have any injuries, conditions, etcetera before doing an induction that includes a spot like this. This is an advanced spot (lowering the person to the ground) that requires proper training to perform it safely. My videos are meant to help people understand aspects of hypnosis inductions by providing a visual tool as they study on their own. My videos are not meant to teach spotting techniques.
NOTE: If you read the text that accompanies this video, you'll find that we walked from the barbershop to the park before this occurred. During this time I determined whether they were able to be hypnotized safely. There is a lot more to hypnosis than just using suggestions. Safety is suprememely important.
Although this induction looks simple on the surface, there are many things going on simultaneously or quickly in succession including (but not limited to): assessing the volunteer, establishing/using rapport expectation, decision of which patter and approach to use, etcetera.
If you learn the techniques well then you can hypnotize people quickly quite successfully (as long as you're not merely imitating steps of an induction without understanding the ideas behind each step/approach).
So what should I do after attempting a rapid induction and they just look at me weird after trying to induce them? Don't they have to be "mentally prepared"? or does it not matter?
Quick question: I'm considering going into hypnotherapy as a possible career. Now, don't name any numbers, but would you say hypnotherapy is a lucrative career?
Thank you. Yes, hypnotherapy can be quite lucrative if you handle yourself well, handle your clients well, whil focusing on helping people and learning your craft well.
The instant induction shown in this video was created as it was happening (impromptu). If you learn the basics of hypnosis well, and understand the advanced techniques, then you can perform many different types of rapid induction on demand.
There are hypnotists that will repackage basic or advanced techniques and call them something new in order to create a product or a way to differentiate themselves. With the exception of personal style, the foundations of rapid inductions are constant.
Each person experiences hypnosis differently. Most people who experience traditional hypnosis (as opposed to covert or conversational hypnosis) will be aware of a feeling of calm and/or profound relaxation. Occasionally some people will feel as though they black-out when they enter the relaxed hypnotic state, but most hypnotized people remain aware of the happenings in the environement around them, while remaining intensely focused on the voice of and instructions given by the hypnotist.
It's the instant hypnosis by surprise right? When something surprise a person, it creates a blank passage in the mind's conscious will. In targeting that blank, the hypnotic suggestion clears a path trough the conscious defenses and gets directly to the unconscious right?
Very good explanation! You are correct about what happens during shock or surprise. What occurs here, in this video is a combination of a pattern interrupt followed by shock.
It looks like I am holding a pressure point, but I am not. I am only supporting his neck to make sure he remains safe since it was hanging over the bookbag. I placed him on my bookbag to make sure that his white shirt didn't get dirty
There's no need to use pressure points when doing hypnosis.
If you would like to learn hypnosis, you can join the member's list of my Hypnosis Newsletter, which contains hypnosis discussion, Q&A, tips, news and announcements of classes and instructional DVD's that I will be selling soon. As with just about any skill or profession (being a lawyer, being an anesthesiologist, being a CPA) a person can use her/his knowledge to help or to harm. There is nothing inherently dangerous about hypnosis. The determining factor of safety/danger is the one who executes the skill. The volunteer in my video is perfectly safe because I purposely work safely and I have absolutely no desire to or intention to use hypnosis to steal from or to harm people. I use hypnosis to amuse, heal and help.
Could you use thi to help other with mind distress and wih disieases?
And.....this could help you to conquer a girl? LOL, I mean be able to like someone if you use the right words, but always respecting the person personal space.
man, i wish i could do that, and it'd be hilarious to have some fall into a trance that easy,
but what i dont understand is how you get him into the first trance, i know how hypnosis theory and stuff, the 'quicknosis' just doesnt work for me...

would it be something like: you will stop smoking, or: the amount ciggarettes you smoke will decrease every day until it reaches zero.
or would it be more effective using imagination: now i want you to picture a black ball of smoke. and when i say so.
you will let go of that black ball as well as your desire to smoke.
what do you think, give me ideas.

KC2XL 2 years ago
If a client believes that he/she can be regressed to a former life AND if that client is helped by the experience of PLR, then a hypnotist should not break the client's belief of the reality of PLR by stating a contradictory opinion. Similarly, if the client believes PLR is symbolic, then the hypnotist should allow the client to belive it is symbolic. By contradicting the client's opinion of PLR, the hypnotist might deter the client from using PLR--a tool that might have been quite beneficial.

hello
is it possible to hypnotize a student by saying you will forget everything except to read, write and remember what you have studied for the past 1 year until your examination ends
jamesfirst92 2 years ago
Hypnosis can be used quite effectively to help students concentrate, learn and focus while studying. However, the process you described is not how hypnosis works when dealing with complex issues such as concentration and studying. Helping a person improve studying requires more than just telling a hypnotized student that he will study well and remember everything. The hypnotist must help the student break negative patterns and reinforce positive patterns that increase motivation and focus.

could you hypnotize yourself?
jreinjrein2 2 years ago
Yes, you can hypnotize yourself. It's called self-hypnosis or autohypnosis. Before using self-hypnosis, you should work face-to-face with a hypnotist who will teach you self-hypnotize by:
(1) explaning hypnosis to you;
(2) hypnotizing you, so you will know how to recognize the state of hypnosis; and
(3)showing you how to enter the state of hypnosis by yourself.
NOTE: The states of self-hypnosis tend to be lighter than the deep states of hypnosis achieved with a hypnotist.

well i have studied hypnosis well but i can't seem to get the hang of rapid hypnosis on the other hand i can do slow induction perfectly

I'am not sure where heard this but are lucid dreams a form or type of hypnosis. Is there a difference between the feeling of being hypnotised and having lucid dream?
XheYxItzXaliceX 2 years ago

ComputaholicTV 2 years ago
Hypnosis seems easy on the surface, but there is much more to it than just saying a few words to someone. Just like any skill, you must take time to learn it. Instant and rapid inductions are advanced techniques. If you want to learn to hypnotize people consistently and well, then I recommend starting with the basics. Learn a progressive relaxation induction, then move into a traditional Elman Induction. From there you can learn rapid inductions.
KC2XL 2 years ago
Whether you would require a long induction or a short induction to hypnotize your friend would depend mainly on your hypnosis skill level and your knowledge of hypnosis.

i'd like to point out ive seen some of ur videos and im astonished! ive researched hypnosis countless times in my life and yet i can never get anyone in a trance i always use rapid or instant inductions can u give me a few pointers?
dabox321 2 years ago

Thanks.
MegaCalvinHobbes 2 years ago
The terms instant and rapid inductions apply to the time it takes to guide a person from a waking state into a state of moderate to deep hypnosis usually by using inductions where you can clearly see a person physically relax.
Covert (or conversational) hypnosis occurs while a person is unaware that he or she has become hypnotized--there is an absence of dramatic relaxation (postural slumping).
KC2XL 2 years ago
If you are just learning hypnosis and you plan on doing stage-hypnosis type demonstrations for your class, then I recommend that you use one of the traditional inductions such as Progressive Relaxation or the Elman Induction. Although instant inductions look simple, they require a strong knowledge of hypnosis to do efficiently and consistently well.
I will be releasing a DVD on how to instant inductions soon. For more info, join my newsletter at KC2XL(dot)com.

KC2XL 2 years ago
Thanks for replying so quickly, and I will.
During my History class, I learned about a man, who in 1947, made it past 75,000 well trained Soviet guards, by showing them a blank piece of paper that they believed to be an ID card. He did so by using some form of hypnosis. What form of hypnosis did he likely use?
MegaCalvinHobbes 2 years ago
If the story occurred as you heard or read it it is likely that the man showed one guard who was responsible for checking papers to let him pass (as opposed to showing the blank paper to each of the 75,000 guards). If hypnosis was used, then it would most likely be conversational (covert hypnosis).
KC2XL 2 years ago

KC2XL 2 years ago
I mentioned "did you see how relaxed he was" I was referring to Junior, who had just been hypnotized (see Park Bench Knock Out).
I also was referring to Galo's experience that he had 2 years ago. (read the text so you'll see what I am talking about).
KC2XL 2 years ago
ok m8 :)
XFlex9 2 years ago
right, i get the instant induction thing, but do u have to hypnotise them before this with a different technique, so when u say sleep they sleep or can u just make them sleep instantly by using this instant induction ?
XFlex9 2 years ago
No, this is not a re-induction. What is shown in this video is the first time I ever hypnotized him. This is the first induction that I ever did with him.
KC2XL 2 years ago
It may work, but I still find this type of induction possibly very dangerous. Doing this to someone who has an injury or some medical condition could cause some serious problems.
Firesky0008 2 years ago
This is why it is important to ask people whether they have any injuries, conditions, etcetera before doing an induction that includes a spot like this. This is an advanced spot (lowering the person to the ground) that requires proper training to perform it safely. My videos are meant to help people understand aspects of hypnosis inductions by providing a visual tool as they study on their own. My videos are not meant to teach spotting techniques.
KC2XL 2 years ago
NOTE: If you read the text that accompanies this video, you'll find that we walked from the barbershop to the park before this occurred. During this time I determined whether they were able to be hypnotized safely. There is a lot more to hypnosis than just using suggestions. Safety is suprememely important.
Thank you for your comment.
KC2XL 2 years ago
Yeah I'm worried of trying this out...what if it doesn't work and the person is just like "what the hell?"
TheCrushedCan1991 2 years ago
Although this induction looks simple on the surface, there are many things going on simultaneously or quickly in succession including (but not limited to): assessing the volunteer, establishing/using rapport expectation, decision of which patter and approach to use, etcetera.
If you learn the techniques well then you can hypnotize people quickly quite successfully (as long as you're not merely imitating steps of an induction without understanding the ideas behind each step/approach).
KC2XL 2 years ago
Is it true that you can not hypnotise someone that doent want to be hypnotised?
RedHairWarrior 2 years ago
So what should I do after attempting a rapid induction and they just look at me weird after trying to induce them? Don't they have to be "mentally prepared"? or does it not matter?

13Knives1 2 years ago
The instant induction shown in this video was created as it was happening (impromptu). If you learn the basics of hypnosis well, and understand the advanced techniques, then you can perform many different types of rapid induction on demand.
There are hypnotists that will repackage basic or advanced techniques and call them something new in order to create a product or a way to differentiate themselves. With the exception of personal style, the foundations of rapid inductions are constant.
KC2XL 2 years ago
what do they see when that happends?
like black?
does he know what's going on
like does he FEEL relaxed?
can he hear your voice?
could you do this to me?! :D
ilovejohnnyandjeremy 2 years ago
Each person experiences hypnosis differently. Most people who experience traditional hypnosis (as opposed to covert or conversational hypnosis) will be aware of a feeling of calm and/or profound relaxation. Occasionally some people will feel as though they black-out when they enter the relaxed hypnotic state, but most hypnotized people remain aware of the happenings in the environement around them, while remaining intensely focused on the voice of and instructions given by the hypnotist.

It's the instant hypnosis by surprise right? When something surprise a person, it creates a blank passage in the mind's conscious will. In targeting that blank, the hypnotic suggestion clears a path trough the conscious defenses and gets directly to the unconscious right?
marnix151 2 years ago
Very good explanation! You are correct about what happens during shock or surprise. What occurs here, in this video is a combination of a pattern interrupt followed by shock.
KC2XL 2 years ago
how u get him to sleep? :S
does it works on everyone??
siebren111 2 years ago
Are u pressing some kind of point on his body and after that he fall down or what..?
on3nightstand 3 years ago
It looks like I am holding a pressure point, but I am not. I am only supporting his neck to make sure he remains safe since it was hanging over the bookbag. I placed him on my bookbag to make sure that his white shirt didn't get dirty
There's no need to use pressure points when doing hypnosis.
