  • Brian Cox has obviously found the key to eternal youth.

  • Brian Cox should be the next doctor who

  • the new youtube seems to be having some bugs with google chrome.. or maybe its just me?

  • Am I the only one who loves the new youtube layout? Its way more convenient

  • this must have been after they found out about the neutrinos that appear to go faster than the speed of light

  • Why does Brian Cox not know about the leidenfrost effect? My experience is that it will protect you for at least 0.5 seconds.

  • @eewEinsteineew I'm fairly sure he does know about it, but you have to realise, neither Brian nor Jonathan are exactly known for preforming risque stunts which require fast reflexes.

Look at it this way--even though I know a thin film of water on my hands would protect me from say, molten lead, I'm completely okay with wearing safety equipment and being cautious, given the very real chance that I could render one of my most used limbs useless.

  • God sneezed! I love it.

  • hahaha id love to smoke weed with this guy XD

  • "Top physicist in the country" I bet Stephen Hawkins is spinning in his little chair.

  • Haha he got a shock when he went to pick up the cup of the stuff

  • Viruses ain't alive, technically.

  • What a Man :D

  • How can anyone dislike this??

  • he must have a great memory. Fuck, I struggle with simple shit, not like how to spell my name, but problem solving )o:

  • Intelligence, humour, talent and good looks, well done Mrs Cox, though I bet Mrs Cox is streets ahead of her very jolly husband. J Ross and Brian Cox are a great team, more of that in the future?

  • Omg his brain is so sexy

  • You can't say no, but probably not....Jonathan Ross got the scientific mind down.

  • this was the best episode. i love them both, they make a good comedy pair.

  • Hah, i love brain, he's so fucking charming!

  • LOL to the butt plug!!!

  • Super cool guy.

  • Please upload the Emma Thompson interview from this episode!!

  • Brian Cox's laugh makes me smile :D haha

  • brian cox doing his best Gallagher impersonation

  • Brian Cox is my Carl Sagan

  • @NefariousVirtuoso88 Indeed, he's a man worthy of filling Carl's shoes. He's such a pleasent fella!

  • what the fuck! hes 42? thought he was in his 20s lol

  • @valdory He's the answer!

  • @valdory ...still would

  • @valdory I just found out he was 43 thanks to wikipedia I thought at the oldest he was 32.

  • I'm watching this from the 4th dimension. So not only have i already seen the end of this interview, i can see all sides of my laptop and inside it simultaneously.

  • I have a sneaking suspicion my laptop's actually alive, and its main hobby is to mock me. Whenever I have a deadline it delights in loading any program at least five times slower than normal and then coming up with an error >>

  • Brian Cox, my new best friend.....in time and space.

  • Brilliant interview! Got quite a man crush on Sir Cox! Jonathan Ross is a great interviewer, he actually asks questions and tries to engage him even though he obviously knows as much as the layman. Anyone seen Brian Greene on Letterman? He talks about science at the same level but Letterman just sidesteps him and makes jokes about not understanding him.

  • He should be a permanent addition to a show or at least him and Ross should begin their own series.

  • at 15:02 i about lost it!

  • mental man..!

  • Who do you think is smarter, Brian Cox or Richard Dawkins?

  • An absolute hero.

  • @SloanieYE

    'Wossy' - "HEADECHE" LMAO

  • @SolidSnakeSays

I was talking about Brian Cox.

Jonathon Ross is a bit of a wanker.

  • 8:44 that looks like the tunnel from terminator 3 when the girl screams and the female terminator "just die you bitch"

  • I wanna see what that stuff does to my peenus.

  • I love him.

  • Brian you a wonder yourself!

  • I can't see him as being 43 years old. I thought he was maybe early 30's. Wow. Either he has time travelled back in time or I can't judge age worth a penny. The latter being quite true. No way he looks 43.

  • @theart1rm he's 43 yet he acts like a child, smashing everything. love it!

  • My goodness Professor Brian Cox makes everything sound so simple, i wish he came and visit my school! <3

  • Brilliant! My God I'd marry Brian Cox tomorrow if I could, wow, gorgeous :-)

  • n omg! who disliked this??

  • @dkmystery Me!!

  • @Goodfellow7 science proves tough for you? lol

  • @supernovalass haha

  • @dkmystery :D

  • @Goodfellow7 n do u have any reason?

  • @dkmystery i think the person who told you they disliked this, is lying.

Because that means, they would've had to re-visit this video 5 days after disliking it, find your comment and reply to it.

    Seems fishy doesn't it?

  • @MrMattyvibes lol yeah maybe! the main issue is that, there's nothing to dislike in this vid!!

  • Brian Cox rocks!!

  • This is my favourite Wossy interview, along with Will Smith's.

  • inspirerend

  • science is our best and only way of explaining reality as we percieve it. and i love it.

but did it cross anoybody elses mind that as humans we only have a few senses to let us know we are alive at all?

i mean, an ant doesnt know we exist because it isnt evolved enough to detect us.

what if we, as humans, dont know about something that we cant detect with touch, taste, smell, sight, sound and whatever?

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 a very enlightening & interesting point.

  • @BaggageLaunderer thanks! thats the kind of nonsense that crosses my feeble mind when i drink beer and watch science clips on youtube.

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 Becuase we create things that can, because we have evolve that way and are very intelligent. If an ant could invent a telescope and then look through it it would probably see us . lol.. and probably start a religion based entirely on the far away big people they know nothing about.. ah... religion sucks.

  • @DirtyBeardTube reading my comment back i realise that i was wrong in saying that ants cant detect us. in the sense that they can probably sense vibrations in the ground as we approach them ect.

but i suppose i just meant that there could be some phonomena all around us as we speak that we would not be able to detect with our limited senses, and even with the mind blowing technology that our great species has developed.

i agree though, religion does suck!

  • @StevieWondersWhy24

I have always thought that myself... I suppose on a much larger scale though like DR.Zuess, Men in Black style.. where the whole universe belongs to an atom of another much larger world... but its quite unlikely probably. But fun to think about none the less, I suppose the main point is we share this world with the Ant, I think if there were things as big to us as we are to ants they would be far to big to rome or even exist on this planet... but I totally get what you

  • @DirtyBeardTube mean :).

To be honest I am not particularly scientific minded and Haven't really understood most of it my 23 years alive, but then Dr Cox cam along with his easy to understand explanations and shit. No i'm all up in sciences ass lol... plus I've always loved arguing with religious nuts and Wonders gives me more ammo so to speak :)

  • <3<3<3

  • "shall we..."

  • I think Charlieissocoolike is his long lost son.

  • ''The big bang could have been a sneeze''

    ''...No,''

  • lmao, Jonathan Ross and Nitrogen, so dangerously funny.

  • 'do u think there is life forms watching us even as we speak?'...!! :)

  • cheers for uploading this one

  • Brian Cox for the 12th Doctor!

  • @shaun056

    He looks like James Blunt.

  • @shaun056 What? Hes a physicist

  • @zafaconinc Doesn't mean he's not awesome.

  • @shaun056

Brian cox for the next Master!

  • @shaun056 stupid idea is stupid

  • @shaun056 holy shit that would be fucking epic! best of all he would actually understand what he is saying!

  • What a dood.

  • God Professor I don't half fancy you x

  • @roblowefan1 my science teacher has the hots for him too

  • Matt Smith, Brian Cox and Emma Thompson, that a good guest list.

  • Brian's great! Thanks for uploading the full thing. I really like this interview!

  • How I miss Wossy :(

    Thanks for the upload!
