This is the day after the 49ers cut Michael Robinson to make their 53 man roster for 2010. I thought if they'd wanted to be more creative on offense, his talents could have been really helpful. But alas, Mike Singletary, whom I also respect a great deal, has other plans.

IMO, expecting Robinson to materialize as an up-the-middle running back was never a good idea, one that predates Singletary as head coach.

My favorite player ever at PSU. Great person, leader, and team player. He always wanted his shot at QB but played at other positions without complaining for the good of the team. He waited patiently for his time and when it came, he did it big and helped put PSU football back on the map.
