Indeed it can, the F-35B JSF (the Lightning-II is the F/A-22, dammit!!!!!) is VTOL/STOL capable, same as the Harrier, but faster and with better range.

Correction, F-35 Lightning, not F/A-22 Raptor. To Fr0zone662, download AIX2.0 mod for BF2. It has a harrier and more.
