lol i didnt get a modular power supply so when i realized that i was like T_T. lol but it looks like a wreck inside my case with a pile of psu cables but I guess it doesnt really matter how it looks as long as its not too bad but as much as how it runs. =P i hoped this case and the box was like "believe it" and im like ._. naruto fans?? btw the antec 902 case i have doesnt look like that they changed the structure if it i guess i like urs better except the fact the inside isnt black
built my pc on the 10th XD, its a beast lol Antec 902 gaming case AMD phenom II 940 @ 3ghz 4gb corsair xms2 800mhz asrock a790gxh 2x 5770's in xfire 600watt ocz psu 700gb seagate sony dvd one problem is that the 5770's reach like 67C on full so i may have to invest in a tricool 120mm for the side panel and the cable management is brilliant for this case, its my first build im so amazed at how well it went. and it. took about 5ish hours to get everything unboxed and sorted and put together.
@PassionOfTheChrisT01 well i am running right now AMD 600x2 at stock 3ghz 4GB XMS2 800mhz 160gb HDD radeon 5770 1gb ASUS m2v MX SE and some random DVD writer lol i also have 2 gentle typhoon fans and a 700watt generic no name make psu according to a power consumption calculator i found on the internet i am only using something like 400 maybe less watts but im pretty sure i wont have any porblems with the ocz psu cos the 5770 uses less power than the 4000 series
im building my first pc on febuary 10th the specs will be..... Case: antec 902 CPU: amd 940 x4 mobo: asrock 790gxh RAM: 4gb xms2 800mhz GPU: 2x5770 vapor x 1gb in xfire PSU: OCZ 600Watt stealth xstream HDD:750GB seagate 7200rpm DVD: sony 22x dvd writer and a HD LG 22" TV to see the lovely graphics lol ill be running windows 7 64bit, and ill also be adding another 2gb of ram so i will have a total of 6gb xms2 800mhz, what does everybody think ?
Personally. If I was going to be running multiple cards in crossfire, I would try to use a much more powerful power supply. Although it is recommended for 600w minimum, I would personally use 750 or above.
Nice work, was there any advantage or disadvantage to the way you had the psu, would it be cooler or hotter if it took intake from the bottom? Was there much space between the graphics card and hdd cages?
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the 902 (nor the 900) is meant to have the PSU fan facing down. There is no hole in the case floor to let the air pass through. There's little rubber standoffs, but I doubt those give enough clearance to let the PSU breath properly.
Question: Is it possible to turn off the fan LEDs? I'd really hate to buy a case only to have to spend more money on fans that don't light up like a blue Christmas tree.
The new build was my brothers not mine, so this system is still working as great as ever. I would have to be pretty rich and pretty crazy to upgrade that quickly haha :P
yh awesome case im Getting this. awesome awesome awesome black inside and everything...and its small so thats perfekt for lan partys...just a perfekt case.....antec 1200 is to big
very nice, yeah i love how the antec 902 is black on the inside, i wish they could have figured that out earlier or atleast put it into the 300, all well, nice vid & pc
I was thinking about it, but I think I preferred having a smaller case, right now my desk is kind of limiting me. Antec 1200 looks so good though, would be even easier to work in. :)
I think I will get one for xmas, thanks for the suggestion. I have a Sony Digital camera but I preferred using my DSLR for this video as I was concentrating too hard haha

67c is not bad on a stock cooler, my overclocked 8800GT reaches 63c and that´s with an Accelero S1 with a Nexus 120mm fan.

The 2 extra fans comes with fan controlers that takes the 3.5" drive space, will it block my air flow?

Only possible to turn off the top fan LED, which does make it a lot less bright overall, the front fans are not too bright

@tobleroneuk why 900w powersupply isnt that bit overkill for a gtx 260?
leet2222 1 year ago
