Quite strange to have this as a Dora the Explorer product. This has nothin to do with the show, but totally a Nickelodeon type of toy. They probably developed the toy and then needed to put a popular charcter with it so it woudl sell better and she fit the age group. The illustrations do look funky - not quite magical enough to be just fun, and not science or cooking-related enough to be educational, but some of the art definitely looks like its supposed to be candy or something else.
