I used to be a fan of Westlife (still like them, as my mum did!) but this song really moves me. I get the impression its about a man who lost his wife. She was his redeemer, she saved him from a life of wasting himself, she brought joy and companionship, but she died. And this song is about how he's gone back to his dark days and can find no other way but to kill himself. Sad yet uplifting. x

Wow, I bought the Unbreakable cd when it came out and I've listened to it a billion times but it was only reccently I actually started listening to the lyric of this song, it's so beautiful! Because of it, I became sceptical about it being an original Westlife song and what do you know... But I still like their version better ( probably because I heard it first, if I had heard the original first, I'd be outraged that they dared cover it ;) )
