Great stuff! I love winter photography and video! I have to get out and get more! Sure it's cold, we just have to wear warmer clothes. My hands were freezing when I video'd the CP Dimentional Load near Port Hope! The memorial plaque was a very nice touch! Old stations should be preserved!
@Railrodder - CP demolished many of their stations in the 1970's as they wanted out of the passenger business. CN's were more fortunate since passenger service was promoted.
There are many notable stations lost, but the ones I feel that were lost greatly were the old GTR ones along the seaway.
Prescott, Ernestown, Kingston (Outer) Gananoque, Port Hope, Napanee, Belleville, Cobourg are old GTR stations that survive....for now.
heading west to Toronto, from mile 102.5 (Galop) to 105.7, it's a downgrade. Trains going east have a grade to contend with eventhough it didn't show in my videos from that day.
Speeds are 60mph for freight and 100mph for VIA but curves like at Cardinal restrict speeds to 80-90mph.

@imprezzed42296 - Thanks!
The dampness was a problem. Eventhough I was prepared, it did go through my jacket. -8C isn't bad but the windchill was. -22.
