What's with the magical touch-screen at 1:24? Looks really out of place in a fantasy world, I don't care if there's an explanation for it. I also don't care for the whole world being a dream thing, that, together with the touch-screen kind of reminds me of WoW, when you find out that the whole world is a science experiment.

@SCindox i am keeping an open mind to it. SWTOR , has terrible combat, but has a real dynamic story. And hitting level 50 with all 8 classes takes hundreds of hours, so i doubt u have done it. If Terra has a free trial, i will certainly try it. But for some reason, i doubt you've played SWTOR, and if u have, u haven't reached 50. It was just my opinion of what tera would be like

Sure it may have 1.7 million subscribers in the FIRST month, but that's only the first fucking month. Many people stopped their subscription due to various reasons.

@chriskatie96 I played it. Got to level 50 on my Sorc in around 2 weeks by questing the whole time. I quit pretty soon after I hit 50. Felt like I was playing an older version of WoW. Everything was just re-named to fit Star Wars. The character ability delay was also really annoying. I guess I'm just tired of the traditional MMO. I have already sunk so much time into one traditional MMO already. That's why I am looking forward to this game, GW2, Secret World, etc.

looks like another mmo that has me collecting 10 wolf pelts, i'll stick to swtor, DC universe had a good combat mechanics, and look where that got them. More story and less grind, thats what people look for in an mmo. A game with good story, but bad combat can make it. A game with no story and good combat cant. Just my opinion

You know what really boils my blood? MMO's that claim to be different just because they updated the combat system or interface. You know what sets really good games apart? Games that are so differant they set a new standard. EvE, WoW and SW:TOR each in their own way made an impression. Soon it will be joined by Secret World. New combat and mechanics don't mean a thing if its just another gear up level up mmo that has no staying power.

Aion was a failure in US yet has millions of players in Korea alone. Aion, with all of it's grindiness and lack of proper PvE was made for Asian lifestyles but not so much for Western ones.
Then Tera comes along and it's the complete opposite!
Isn't Karma a bitch? Tera wasn't a great success in Asia yet nabbed 12 "best of" rewards in US/EU! I read that Bluehole is banking all on Tera's Westernization to be the flagship of the game. Korea and Japan were guinea pigs.
@RemovdSande11 K-TERA players say this is because the game released right after the Open Beta + allowed players to subscribe with their OB character so MANY players were already half way to Cap. Then there was not enough grind to slow down leveling pace and not enough Endgame content once the majority of players reached cap in the first three months.
NA-TERA will have more quests, content, endgame, areas, & a political system. Things which the Korean version didn't when it released a year ago.
@RemovdSande11 Every mmo has a limit on what they can release at launch but there's a vast difference from WoW which normally has plenty though easy vs DCU which had next to zip.

@Sumpfson The game was released prematurely in Korea. En Masse is holding off until the game has enough content to keep the player busy. Basically, they're doing more than "westernizing" it, they're polishing it before release. The Korean version is fixing that right now with patches.

The reason why so many Korean players feel as though it takes "too soon" to hit level cap is because they're pumping in over 100 hours of gameplay a week+ they stacked up millions upon millions of completed quest exp whenever the cap raises. Tera is definitely unique from the other mmos out there, its true action combat based system and it's stunning visuals and storyline put it on top

@MegaG15 Nah it's not turn based it's an action mmo, No targetin you gotta aim where you want the character to hit and you can dodge attacks etc :P

@alucardlb You clearly have not been a victim of the latest PR mmos / other games. lol.
The game is out in korea and works perfectly, we don't even get a release date here only getting half arsed videos and an eu site that doesn't work half the time. It will take alot to destroy Tera from the korean to english version, but with all those new video companies etc, I wouldn't rule out that they got the skills to do so.
