awesome drifting. but i find it hard to drift in gt 5 sometimes it was more easier to drift in fast and the furious Tokyo drift the video game for ps2 that game had the best drifting mechanics ever

Gt5 looks so awesome,

but i think it doesnt feel very good at all with the steering wheel.

Tried both G25 and G27 and it doesnt feel realistic at all.. springy and arcadelike.

LFS drifting is much better feelwise, if only it looked as good as that...

@tkaempf you have to modify your suspensions and camber and toe outs.  Those play a great role especially from keeping your car from spinning out. Also, learn how to use the E-Brake to keep your car sideways... theres too many ways to do it, just go play the game and try it out yourself and you will eventually get the hang of it

@tkaempf I started drifting at Tsukuba Circuit with the 1993 RX-7 at the dealership, just do full mods and use Sport medium for front tires and comfort hard for rear tires. once you get better at it, switch over to comfort soft tires and improve upon it.

Remember, while drifting, putting too much throttle will make your car spin out.

@tkaempf use the E-Brake to slide your car, dont go too fast and dont go too slow, switch to 2nd gear and make sure your RPM is at a certain RPM, and feather with the throttle... dont go full throttle or else your car will spin out

@MrJORDANAKAJJ lmfao for starters the nissan silvia is FR, meaning "Front mounted engine Rear wheel drive" and the RB26 comes from a R34 GTR and you cant swap engines in GT5 ... have you ever played GT5 kid ? ooh and the doctor should have slapped your parents you can paint your wheels, in GT auto >.> go troll something you actually know what your talking about kid.

@MrJORDANAKAJJ yeah but GT5 is a no bullshit GAME <---(being the key word here) forza is more of a visual game more than a realistic performance game, adding decals and paintjobs and all the accessories is all very well and good but GT5 focused on the driving aspect . . . the heart of a racing game should be the driving itself not how good the car looks with bullshit skirtings and bumpers etc , GT5 is one game that has progressively earned its great name through its realistic car looks aswell
