hmm... sort of. it's a little more subtle than that.

the kid & clerk are actually in on it. their exuberance is part of the illusion. when the kid moves to grab the orange, his head moves right in front of chris' hand with the egg. it's less than a second, but it's long enough. you can see chris' fingers start to move just as the kid's head obscures the camera. then when the kid moves away, chris' hand is still again.

so that's one aspect.

still looks cool, though.

I know that there are tricks involved in every illusion but I still love them. I know that no-body can put an egg into a orange and then a lemon into the orange while getting the egg into the lemon, just to have a chic come out of the egg... but its fun to watch.
