Thank you for the review. I am very excited about this movie and have read the Graphic Novel. Does it still have Rorshach's origin story? That is his relationship with his mother, his attack on a group of bullies (as a child), as well as his early find of a missing girl who was murdered and .... the dogs? I'm sure you will know what I mean if it was in the film.
That's pretty implied...if that was changed someone would have said something about it. Ask real questions like...do we see Rorschac's psychiatrist long enough to see Rorschach 'change' him? for me i will miss this the most from the novel, but i know because of time...it'll probably be lost
You see him as he's testing Rorschach when he first gets captured, and again when Rorschach is getting rescued. No significant change, it might be subtly implied.
Ah, yes, totally forgot about that in my video. Because the world's all peaceful and such the editor's like all complaining, so tells him to print anything, and it pans to Rorschach's journal.
I'd heard everything about Doc Manhattan being framed, and while I have problems with this, (not inherently, but because the Squid provides a common enemy, not something that just FORCES people to disarm, and not be *united*) it is okay.
My fear was that in Tse's version of the script, Veidt dies, and I am SO relieved that he doesn't now.
Does this line happen?: "In the end, Adrien? Nothing ever ends." - Dr. Manhattan.
thats the same ending who gives a crap about a squid the movie is great. I'm glad snyder stays true to source material, rather than making random story changes for his own glorification.
Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, Snyder said that I would have taken to long to explain the SQUID. Although there was a small reference to it that I didn't catch when I saw it.
In response to jaggedsymmetry's question from my review video.
So many good parts to pin point one favorite part, but it might be the scene where Silk Spectre II and Nite-Owl beat up the gang after getting cornered by a gang. Because it was a cool fight scene even if trivial but it was a turning point in the movie and shift in pace.
Is there any sex in Watchmen? If so how bad is it?

Yes, shows all of those. Very graphic and shows how much of a badass Rorshach is.

Does it end with the possible finding of Rorschach's journal?

In response to jaykaysok's question from my review video.
1. Yes, it was a comedic scene between Rorshach and the psychologist, flashing back to moments of Rorshach's life and how came to be.
2. Not exactly sure what you meant, but it does show his transformation from being human to what he is now, by a narrative by himself.
