@samjs721 Scott Adkins hast 5 black belts in taekwondo, kickboxing, wushu, Jujutsu and Judo; also hast mastered ninjutsu, muay thai and karate.

Michael Jai White has 7 black belts in Shotokan, Tae Kwon Do, Kobudo, Goju Ryu, Tang Soo Do, Wushu and Kyokushin. Now I want to know what in the hell are you talking about you stupid redneck peace of shit, MMA really. I have a lot of respect from mma fighters, but with all of their respect those guys have a lot to learn from these 2

all those different disciplines, titles and belts yet they dont have the balls to prove them selves in the cage. a true marital artist wouldn't care about the risk of losing. these two are just pampered movie stars. actors that wouldn't want to see a lose in their resume. lol @ calling me a redneck. im not even white you dumbass. i respect both these guys a little because they practice martial arts. its a strict discipline and way of life. MJW is still a cool individual

@samjs721 You say they need to prove themselves in the cage, but to whom? MJW is already cool with a lot of MMA fighters like Rampage, Machida, Kimbo, just to name a few. Rampage even asked if he could spar with him a little to prepare for the Machida fight. So if guys in MMA already respect guys like MJW, wouldn't that carry a lot more weight than the opinions of those who aren't on their level?

maybe i was wrong saying that but MJW thinks hes the best fighter ever. not true. most of his fancy moves wouldn't work in real fights. its all choreographed. im just mad that he called mma fighters "gloried bouncers". thats disrespectful towards all fighters. most mma fighters dedicate their entire lives towards mma and saying a thing like that is stupid and irrational.

@samjs721 Hmm, when did he say all that, is there an interview online where he says these things? Was he talking about specific people or in general, because I find it odd that MMA guys would be in movies that he produced and directed after remarks like that. Did he also say he believes he's the best fighter? Not callin you a liar, maybe there's an interview I'm not aware of, if so I'd like to check it out.

@samjs721 Ok, just saw the video, thanks for the link. Couple of things: 1) He didn't say all of them are glorified bouncers, he said a lot of them are, which I agree with, though I would say this is something you see in other arenas too, like boxing. You have your pure boxers and then you have pure brawlers who don't have much technique but a lots of guts and grit (i.e. Clay Guida). I wouldn't call them glorified bouncers, but that's just me. @samjs721 And 2) He didn't change up his statement when he said Machida isn't one, because the DJ noted that they were already discussing that when they watched one of his fights. So he was referring to a certain number, not everyone. And some MMA guys have trained with him, so at least some of them agree with his viewpoint. Is he cocky? Sure, but so are many pro fighters throughout history. More important question is, is what he was saying true? I say yes, but feel free to disagree.

Seeing as how it's a couple years old, I'd like to see what he thinks today, now that he's collaborated with several MMA fighters in movies and such. Maybe he thinks differently now, it could happen. Michael Jai White is epic, and I wish he had a bigger role in Hollywood, he deserves it. But I will ALWAYS remember one of his first starring roles, where he was uncredited in an episode of Saved by the Bell :)
