Russia has more anti-air defense systems then i've ever seen anywhere else. And when combined their Air Force is primarily really just a second line of defense. Its smart and I believe the way of the future.

@gOtze1337 Well very smart in their assessment and armament program and I have no doubt that is one of the primary reasons. It's rare for us to lose aircraft because we have always dominated the air but even Iranian AA systems can surely put that to the challenge.
