Shit's crazy here, in the respect of one being aware of the present situation. I want to say that almost all American people are good at heart, but there is some powerful corporate and governmental forces who want absolute control and will do any means necessary to obtain it, or the illusion of it. They lead good people in bad directions. Rampant - perhaps systematic - religious indoctrination in the military is a good example.
