When I went to Japan for my sons wedding back in November 2007, they came to the wedding and played for the brides father. They were fantastic, they drummed for 45 minutes, Japan is awesome! I will have another chance in May to go again. They are having a baby.
Thanks for your comments. All traditional Japanese drums are for thanking gods who gifted good harvest, nothing to do with war spirit, I think. On the other hand, marching drums for soldiers were learned from Europe who had learned from Ottoman Turks as far as I know.

very very good!
the great thing is they don't play so fast as western drumlines tend to do with their drum rudiments..
this is more relaxed to listen to and at the same time the beat is pulsing and vibrating..
