  • Thank you very much for this video lesson!

  • Hi Siggi, thirty years ago songs like these were taught by music notes… To play songs took time with hours of practice. Just want to say, on the rhythm part in D when starting the verse… place your pinkie on the third string fourth fret… on the down stroke… then the pinkie off on to the up-to-stroke. The sound makes an extra base blues rhythm. On videos, John doesn't do this… his pinkie is resting. He has the other guitarist doing the rhythm and blues.

  • CONGRATULATIONS...

VERY GOOD EXPLANATION, TEACHING HOW TO PLAY A SONG.

THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLAYING A SONG AND TEACHING HOW TO PLAY IT, AND YOU DID A GOOD JOB.

  • Great ! what a good lesson, without hurry, patiently and very efficient !! Thanks Man !

  • Do you take requests? Teach me 'Wolves' by Garth Brooks!!!

    thanks

  • By the way, John Fogerty played this with his guitar tuned down a whole step, which means he played it transposed up to the key of E.

In that case you would play the intro as

    D / B /

    D / B /

    D / B / A // G /

and the main song as E with a turn around to B / C#m

  • merci pour ces lecons

  • Your right about the groove. Very difficult to get it sounding like yours.
