Quick civics lesson.... The President doesn't make laws. The LEGISLATIVE BRANCH legislates ( creates law). The Legislative Branch is congress.. The president can direct his attention and push for people to do different things but He is not the one who is to blame or who is to be rewarded in the end. It's congress. Congress approves/ Denies appointments and the creation of new sections of bureaucracy ( ICE) so rather than saying BArack this an BArack that holla at ur representatives

Carlos, I understand that our trade policies with Latin America are impoverishing millions but that is no excuse for them to break our laws. It's not politically feasible to pass immigration reform unless amnesty comes with great hurdles attached. Americans are to their core a people who value fairness and allowing people to cut in line would just not be tolerated.

To pass immigration reform, we need a national consensus, which means both parties have to support it.
You have to understand the politics before the elections. The Republicans have chosen to play anti immigrants politics and that is the main reason, why we can't pass immigration reform.
