Bad News Brown was not the Stone Cold of his era. His character was based on the stage-movie version of Jack Johnson in the "Great White Hope." Especially with the encouragement of booing. Go all look at the movie and listen to how the Jefferson character (Johnson) was greeted and jeered in the ring.

Stone Cold is a carryover from the Hell's Angels biker character only from a skinhead rather than a blond long haired persona he couldn't deliver anymore.

Jake's in no fit state to coach anyone unfortunately, these past few years haven't been kind to Jake, in and out of rehab for his Alcohol addiction, and he's still on the drink.

It's sad to see one of the greatest performers and greatest on the mic fallen from so far, the man was one of the best, but his life is just a very sad story and a sorry state right now.

Well, he won that one, technically. And against Andre at WrestleMania V. Against Hercules Hernandez at SummerSlam '88 (best and most "realistic" match of Hercules' career!). Against George Wells at WrestleMania 2. Against Rick Martel at WrestleMania VII. And he usually ended up victorious at the end of his various feuds, actually, although often not on PayPerView (e.g. DiBiase, Rick Rude etc.) But Jake did get pounded on a lot for sure...and people loved him all the more for his humanity.
