I think it's stupid because it's true that they allow lots of porn and things like that even if it's censured IT'S STILL NOT CONVENIENT FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE. Why can't they allow anime instead? or fan dub? Meaning, the video contains ALL your content.

The "freaking porn" videos are probrly not copyrighted.

Anyway, its there website, and they can do whatever the hell they like with it.

I agree. It states in the terms and conditions that there's a risk to our account if we upload copyrighted material. You people need to pay attention. And I don't see what the big deal is anyway. If they delete your account, there's nothing stopping you from creating another. So what if you have to be a little creative and come up with a new account name. You can reupload your vids and get on with life. Are we getting so lazy that it's a hassle to create another account if the first was deleted?

I can understand peoples accounts been deleted, and copyright holders are free to clam whats rightfully theres.

Some copyright holders let you keep the video up belongs they receive public statistics about the video.

This suites me fine, good on them!

I got 1 video like that already, and would happily tell them of any other videos of mine that may have there music/video.

Before anyone goes bad mouthing copyright holders, ask yourself, how would you feel if someone took your video?

You think YouTube is been a pain taking your videos down, what about the stabing YouTube is taking for you?!?

YouTube gets fined £1000000s for your copyrighted videos, but what does YouTube do?

They just block you, that is incredably nice of them!

If you tryed uploading your videos directly to the net and on T.V ect. you would be fined more than you could ever hope to earn in your life time.

Well I assure you that the clips that I have in mind for upload is with the authorisation of the creators as it says at the "CopyRight Notices of YouTube" , and personal made only. I think that you are right and they first have to take the permition to upload them from the creators so they don't have to afraid for their account.

You gave the copyright holder credit, but it can still be seen as stealing as you don't have there permission to use the clips.

I have to admit, its best you give them credit, but at the end of the day, it doesent get anyone off the hook, just pray the copyright holder is nice.

Yes they don't earn money for that, but the company spends a huge amount to create the clips and then it is obvious that will want to earn money for them, by selling the videos, and not just broadcasting them to everyone for free. People who take those clips and upload them on Youtube are breaking the law and broadcasting the videos for free, which means no profit for the companies. Youtube wasn't deleting accounts before, they used to just delete the videos, but people never stopped uploading..
