I just saw this movie right now. It was alright, they could of done better, Shenron was a gay dragon, Yamcha was weird, Bulma is hot, Goku??? can't say much. It's funny because the rest of the cast was asian and Goku is white. I was upset because they could of made it like the actual series. And from my point of view, there is no way in hell that there is going to be a sequel.

yes transformers had better effects, but these effects are really good too. and i know effects, because I make them. those blasts and explosions were likely created with really advanced particle generators. Vector blur, and really good color correction. Those dragonballs were probably modeled in Autodesk's Maya.
The only thing missing in the blasts is the shiny light part from the anime, which could be made using Trapcode Shine.
well in my opinion. Most of the effects in this movie are awesome. There are alot of movies with better effects like transformers, and harry potter and the half blood prince, but still.
they need to remake this movie and Avatar the Last Airbender.
