It is a mistake. It would be better writing "chaussures" with 2 S ! 1 chaussure , 2 chaussures.

I notice sometimes you pronounce the E at the end of some words, like chambre and marche, and sometimes you don't. is there any rule on this?

The french "R" is affecting my throat and can feel the pronounciation exposing more of the top of my teeth. Does that help my announciation too? If possible listen to Edif Piaf albums and her french "R". It is classic!

Been Using workbooks for over a year. Am greatful for these lessons. Really makes me feel as though i am on my way to France but who knows when. Singing "April in Paris" Going to turn 52 then.

people, if u dont get it right away, do what i do. it helps big time.

im writing all this down as i go. but ill write how it is written on here on one line, then what it means in english on another line, then on the last line, ill write how it sounds. then i dont need to play this video over & over to learn it cause ive got all i need on my paper. it really helps. and im doing each line in a different color too so its easier to read.
