Alex seems to have a really in-depth understanding of and appreciation for his character. In fact, I would say that he genuinely likes playing Eric Northman and relates to him. I think that's what makes his performance so rich and believable.
I am so hooked on this show, I watched the 1st 3 seasons in a week!! just started season 4 last night, I have a question is this like Six feet Under in where it plays 12 shows straight and then we have to wait like 9 months to see the next season? i really hate that
Let's be perfectly clear, I would love a shower scene with Eric! LOL That would be beautiful. I think we would all be glued to the tv. I just hope they give him lots of erotic scenes with Sookie! LOL I sort of think now that A and S are married that we might just get a bit less real sex scenes. I think that may have been the why of the shower scene with Bill. It was supposed to have satisfied us. BAH humbug... who cared! LOL No one does a sex scene like Alex!
@09bonita09 Yes, I know she's not shy... and I sincerely hope you are right! LOL Perhaps being married will actually free them all up to letting down their guards... who knows... it's fun to speculate, but will be more fun to watch!
@isisgodiva I think Alex is a regular red blooded male, you can't play that sexy without having it in him... Rutina is sitting right next to him... not to notice how lovely she is would be a flaw in his character indeed! Actually.... they might make a cute couple. *shrug*

What I'm saying is, the last time he did these cryptic stares at a panel, they were with Nelson and of course their characters ended up having scenes together. When Tara says that she's in another town but it's close, I wonder if she wandered into Shreveport and actually got to meet Eric.
@isisgodiva Well, nothing would surprise me, and I would enjoy seeing that happen. I think Rutina is beautiful. I had a second thought when AB said that a space ship came down and whisked Eric up and put him back without his memory. I thought.... "hmmm.... that could be." A space ship swooped down and picked Sookie up more or less.... who knows with this show... I have learned to expect anything and be surprised by nothing! It's a great show!
I love the shower scene in the book, but so many book fans have been anticipating it, that I would think that anything AB would do wouldn't live up to the imaginations of the book readers (I am one BTW).
I'd almost rather see a pond swimming scene; the same pond that Sam and Daphne(?) swam in; it seemed so otherworldly. I think that would fit the idea of the scene well.
I have to say that even as an Eric lover, I love the way that Stephen does interviews; he's so funny and naughty.lol
@eyes2401 i am a book fan as well and i try not too anticipate too much because the show will always be different from the books. the shower part in book 4 would be ofcourse exciting in the show but they already did it with bill and sookie. maybe alan ball and the writers will come up with something better for eric and sookie this season.
