  • todays hip hop artists are for people who are mesmerized by society thinking that its all rainbows and unicorns. people who listen to marilyn manson know the true reality of this world.

  • the woman behind him>Gods a pussy

  • I see, so the song ACSS signifies the uprising of a hydra-like figure with intentions to destroy the world? The more I learn the more I feel this album was not directed as insult but rather a collection of personal feelings and thoughts which go deeper than the norm.

  • what's with the falling ash? what does it signify?

  • @leNOIRfae in The Reflecting God he destroys the world, there is nothing left but ashes

  • 15 aniversario de uno de los mejores discos de manson "antichrist superstar"

  • Two people can kill themselves now

  • I know 2 people other than me that like MM :/

  • He's an amazing performer <3

  • @MechanicalWood check out alice cooper

  • Metal for ever NO POP!

  • la più bella canzone del reverendo

  • I wish he would still perform this live.

  • Love this. Classic. I hope to see him perform this one again sometime..

  • Complexly Beautiful. If it werent for Marilyn Manson i wouldent be alive right now. :]

  • you can kill yourself now because youre dead in my mind

  • hermosa cancion ni hablar casi lloro jijii

  • God, he used to sound great live, but nowadays he sounds high on stage. Still entertaining, though.

  • man that makes me cry. fucking beautiful. the ''shock'' era was so fucking great.

I saw him in 07. but fuck! you cant compare it with 96 or 97.

    love it.

  • This has got to be one of the most beautiful performances of this song he has done

  • This song just compares him to everyone around. I wish he would do this live again though because it's a beautiful song. Love ya Brian!

  • one love the first u ever kissed so they say, same to music first deleve into the world of real music manson will never forget tht first kiss

  • oh man,its so beautiful...

  • @shebrhab

    Yeah me too!

I always replay this version of man that you fear I mean... The bass, the snow... I love this song! THIS is real music!

  • i killed a nigga for his breakfast

  • He MUST play this song live again! He only needs the snow...

I mean come on! he has played dried up, tied and dead to the world... why not this one?!

  • couldnt agree more man

  • Unfortunately in an interview he said would not play this song live again, nor does he want hear. He said each time a fan mentions this song he becomes overwhelmed with guilt and sadness because of what he lost when he evolved into what is his now. Pay close attention to the lyrics of this soon and you'll understand.

  • I will elaborate. The song is comparing himself to the world, and everything but him is abnormal. What he has become is not the result of himself, but rather the actions of those close to him. This song exemplifies this beautiful but Manson regrets this soo much because he lost those who were closet to him.

  • @leNOIRfae

Sadly, I just started to tear up while listening to this song and reading your comment at the same time. It just makes me sad. The 1996-2000 Manson will never be back. I like the new music, but it will never be the same.

If you know a link to the video with that interview if there is one, would you mind sending it to me?

  • this is really moving!

  • Makes me very sad... It's an incredibly touching performance and song. The video clip is beautiful also.

  • I fucking lkove this song... the end is great..

does it says: "when all of your whishes are granted many of your dreams will be destroyed"?? is that so?

  • Yes, "When all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed".

  • That's one of his quotes. I wonder if he turned the lyric to a quote, or the quote to a lyric...

  • He opened a fortune cookie and that's what it said.

It's at the end of his book, "The long hard road out of hell"

  • this is real music not like ur horrible 50 cent rap or r&b pussies betch

  • I know. Manson's the only great singer these day's. Not fucking rap.

  • I agree. I'm only twelve and I know better. In fact nobody in my entire public school likes him. They are all still into Hanna Montana and fucking hip hop.

  • Seems like you do know whats good, keep it up young man and I just hope those kids your age that are into Hanna Montana and all that shit get to understand one day what is true music

  • @xvxjulienxvx My school is also like that accept it's a bunch of 14-19 year olds :P

  • @xvxjulienxvx Ye Hannah Montana and all those shitty nerd Disney stars. They are just fake. And they suck. And Rap suck. This is real music. Hannah Montana and other Disney stars are not! Marilyn Manson has changed world!

Marilyn Manson is the BEST ONE!

  • @inhale2606 Hey there's some good rap out there too...

  • @xvxjulienxvx be careful. MM is awesome, but he's also very smart. don't become a fanboy who worships him and wears his name like a flag of patriotism. manson is all about personal independence and freedom. go and make yourself, dude!

  • best song by marilyn manson.

  • beautiful performance

  • what is this song about?

  • According to his autobiography, he wrote this after attending a family wedding and being shunned.

Furthermore, in the story of ADAM & The Tryptich, this represents the rise of disentegrator and the realization that he was merely a means to an end.

This is the song that I feel began Omega. Moreover, in AS he came out guns blazing, hard and cold. MA, he tried to find emotion and was denied. HW he finally took control, and died as a consequence.

  • Good interpretation, excellent in fact, but I believe the chronological order of the Tryptich starts with Holy Wood and ends with Antichrist Superstar

  • My theory is that the three characters, Adam, Omega and the Worm/Disintegrator are essentially one and the same through some sort fo reincarnation. Originally, Adam starts aout as a rebel, but ultimately is used by the media as a pop culture figure and has the meaning of his actions degraded, resulting in suicide.

  • Then begins Omega, who embraces this status, but becomes worn out even so. Drug addiction and slow mental collapse causes Omega to snap much like Adam.

  • Finally, in AS the character starts out as the Worm "a meaningless shadow trying to find its way in a world of endless light". In striving to find his way, the Worm becomes a totalitarian figure, the Disintegrator/Antichrist Superstar. He destroys the freedom created by Adam's revolution, creating a strict dictatorship.

  • Mechanical Animals marked the end of the world (To Omega at Least) and the realization that Coma White is unobtainable. Furthermore, Coma black speaks of how he killed his beliefs in a struggle for vengeance. The reference, "Yesterday was a million years ago" in Last day on Earth cites him coming back after AS 1 million years in the future as our Alien/Angel. Check the NK for the full analysis of the Triptych as it relates to Adam Kadmon and his subsequent fall to the hands of perfection.

  • marilyn manson rocks..this is really wicked..it'sad..it's so sad...
