its still in beta test stage lol what do u expect? stick to ur cartoony WoW then and pay $15 for that hahaha. WoW=the more u level up the more it gets boring. Aion= the more u level up the more it gets fun and flashy
I played this game for 2 weeks, I liked it the first 3 days, but then it became boring and retarded, I even pre-ordered it but cancelled it later. It's BORING, not finished yet, they should work more on it, IMO. I hope they do, until September. Been playing MMO's for a VERY long time, so don't think I'm wrong, this game is personal taste, not the same as WoW.
This game Pwons. Runs great even on Out of Date Systems and Still Blows you away with stunning Graphics/Animations/Spell Effects...
The spell effects at later levels especially will knock your socks off, music/game content is great, Mechanics despite what people say have evolved in this game with the advent of this being the premiere Fantasy MMO with aerial combat.
That being said this games world is most probably larger by a good margin that that of WoW
It doesn't break the mold and you won't find anything drastically different (mechanics wise) from most of the MMOs out there. However, it does what we already know and love very well. It's immersive, polished, and fun.
Tough to say really because I've only played this in the early levels. I played WoW for 2+ years and eventually grew tired of the same old thing. WoW is a great game though and Aion shows all the same exact signs of being a great game.
There is full-blown faction PvP. You get to PvP in The Abyss and capture fortresses and artifacts and also go to each other's pve areas through rifts that open up.
It's great. I'm really enjoying every minute I spend playing. Playing level 25+ in the Abyss (PvP area) will confirm 100% whether or not I want to buy it and try it long term.
drop $5 at gamestop if your local store has pre-orders left. Youll get into all the beta events and if you dont like the game you can transfer that $5 to another pre-order.

I recommend that everyone give it a try.

Well I play games purely for PvP, does this game show that the combat system is capable of PvP combat?
heaa21 2 years ago
This game is designed for PvP far more than WoW.
keenandgraev 2 years ago
I just couldn't help but notice the stand still combat. It is probably different with players though.
heaa21 2 years ago
Yes. This is just PvE against monsters. Thankfully they don't run around like Darkfall's pathetic excuse for AI.

I live in Norway if that counts. Sure i can buy it at gamestop?
childkillerpro 2 years ago
I'm not sure about Norway. Your best bet is to google the guide on how to play in the chinese beta.
