Nice, just saw your thread on 8th Civic. I have a camera mount as well, but I just mounted the tripod in my car and braced it against the seats. I'll post a video response so you can check it out.

What is it with all the camera mount video clips DIY videos that no one has the brains to actually show how the mount is mounted or made? DUH! NO one wants to see endless mindless footage of the video without atleast a clip of the actual mount or how it was made!
