  • Miss you Steve

  • It's alarming to me to think that the person that posted this video ISN'T aware that Steve Irwin didn't die from poison from a sting ray. In fact, the poison from a sting can't even kill a human. It's just a mild protein-based poison that causes pain and inflammation of infected area. Steve Irwin died as a result of the barb penetrating his chest cavity and puncturing his heart.

    TLDR; vid description is stupid.

  • @drvoodoo11 lol agreed, i thought everyone knew that bout his death. The poor guy bled out from a heart wound, quick death

  • Don't feel bad about having a chuckle at this, that's what Steve would want. RIP

  • fedex you lost over 5k of my shit in 1 time so fuck you guys i hope you die like the guy in the video

  • Steve is my idol, no lie. But the face he did at the end made me chuckle in typical Steve fashion. Ah we miss you, mate!

  • They must have sent the anti-venom by Fedex Home Delivery. They suck.

    RIP Steve

  • Huh. This used to be a really funny commercial. Not so much anymore.

  • I was saddened by Steve's death and I still miss him, but this commercial still makes me laugh.

  • In a way, Steve killed himself. He should not have tried to pull out that stingray barb. Shortly after he died, the same thing happened to someone else. They knew not to try to pull out the barb. They got the guy to a hospital and doctors pulled out the barb and saved the guy's life. If you get something stuck in a vital organ; leave it alone. It may be plugging a leak. Let a doctor take it out.

  • @StephenB58 Steve died instantly when he was punctured in the heart...

  • @PoutingXEvoke

No he didn't, he was still alive when they pulled him onto the boat, but he bled out obviously, and with severe heart damage.

  • Ironic

  • Hahaha ....Years later I just had to find & see that commercial again! Just like Steve, positive till the end; "it's okay becau..." Ha, what a great bloke!

  • @heartragedy actually, its the defibrillator shock that killed him

  • i hate all the guys who joke about sting rays... rip steve

  • The irony behind this is that Steve Irwin did die in the field of work. Heh. Do you suppose this commercial was an omen?

  • @wrathofautumn no he was fucking with animals for fun what did u think was going to happen

  • Ironic

  • R.I.P Steve Irwin

  • Also CROCODILE has no K in it

  • These jokes are NOT NOT NOT funny. Steve died because the ray barb destroyed his heart. It punctured him right into his heart. It killed him within seconds. I sure miss Steve. Rest in peace, Steve-O.

  • Poor Steve!

  • i miss that guy

  • @MVcornerback7 Not me and nobody will replace the croc hunter

  • I remember the first time I saw this commercial I loved it. So I don't have a problem with the video but the comment about using Fed Ex for the sting ray should have been removed.

  • i thought steve would be killed by a croc lol

  • This September, he'll be dead four years. I'll be 58 in August; but when I grow up, I want to be just like Steve Irwin.

  • @StephenB58 um if your 58 you've already grown up

  • I thought he was killed by a sting ray

  • : )

  • One of my other favorite Super Bowl commercials of all time. Hilarious. Miss you Steve. You were da man.

  • i guess theyll never get to use this commercial again...

  • that was pretty insensitive posting this vid the day he died dont u think?

  • LMAO

  • funny ad-he had a energetic personality

  • i miss this man.... he is /was /always will be.... awesome!

  • indeed..

  • For TitaniumDragon: What do you mean I'm heiling Hitler? Let's see now. I didn't vote for the messiah because I know he's a fucking communist and wants to turn the USA into a third world, undeveloped, communist country like Cuba and North Korea; and that automatically means I'm heiling Hitler? I wouldn't have voted for Obama if he was all white. He's a communist and if you can't see that, then pull your head out from inside your ass; and smell the toast burning.

  • how come most people think anyone who doesn't like Obama is raceist and wait a sec how come a coment got started about this when its about fedex steve irwin and a snake?

  • stephen I agree with you

  • Alphabex* : I bet you voted for the messiah. Kruschev said in the late 50's; "The American people will never accept communism out right; but we will feed you socialism, a little bit at a time until one day, you'll wake up and be a communist country and not even know it.

  • I know you're busy heiling Hitler, but you DO know you're crazy, right?

Well, I guess not; if you did, then you wouldn't be insane.

Plus, what the heck does that have to do with this video? Seriously. Go get bitten by a "fear snake" :P

  • For mutantsheepofdoom: I've never been on a cruise before. When you are on a cruise ship, do they have sting rays in the swimming pool for people to swim with? Like I said, I've never been on a cruise before. I don't belive Steve Irwin ever tried to turn a whole country into a third world, undeveloped communist country like Cuba and North Korea, with everyone totally dependent on the government for their livelihood.

  • obama hasn't done that so why did you mention him in the previous comment?

  • Can you believe, next month, he'll be dead three years? I can't understand why anyone would idolize something like Barack Obama. Steve Irwin did so much to make this world a better place to live. I'm 57 years old; and when I grow up, I want to be just like Steve Irwin. My first name is Steve, so I guess, I'm already halfway there.

  • Barack Obama didn't get killed by something people PAY to swim with on cruise lines.

  • I remember LMAO when this first aired. I don't laugh at it as much now but, I still can laugh at it.

  • yea i think it's more he jynx himself in a terrible way this commerical was made way before we died so it i remember dis commercial being banned i read in a magazine never seen it since so it was kind of wried you know.

  • It also isn't ironic because its Steve Irwin. Seriously, everyone expected him to die from messing around with a dangerous animal (except his wife, who figured he'd die due to a car accident, which WOULD be ironic).

Death by stingray was only somewhat ironic; he did get killed by an animal, at least, but stingrays aren't actually very dangerous. Unless, of course, you mess with them.

    Croikey!

  • @TitaniumDragon The irony was that he actually wasn't messing with it. He was showing off a completely different animal. The sting ray was literally a freak accident. And it wasn't the venom that killed him. It was the fact that he reacted by pulling the barb out of his own heart. He bled out. They might...MIGHT have been able to save him had he left the spike alone.

  • Comment removed

  • Ironic, but I guess that is how he would have liked to die... RIP

  • Kind of Ironic.

  • Oh Steve! You sure could make fun of yourself and we are still laughing and loving you for it.

  • WOW wat ans awesome stupid vid!

  • aye when i send this vid to pplz they actually look at it. awsome

  • lol that was funny

  • That's mean but funny he was an Australian Muppet Man :D

  • LOL

  • R.I.P.

  • gang lol!

  • I agree, that's the kinda joke that really "stings" one's mind. We need less of those jokes and more happy ones that provide "rays" of sunshine in your heart.

  • sometimes i ask why did he have to die

  • If you ever watched his shows, it was just a matter of chance, the more dangerous things he did the more likely he was to stop having close calls and just actually get killed.

  • i know

  • haha! best commercial ever!

  • At least with this acting for the commercial, he had practice for the real deal.

    JK!

  • fuckin fed ex.

  • why isnt it playing??

  • lol this is ooberly funny!

  • Its kinda ironic really. RIP Steve I really liked your work.

  • I think the spirit in which you posted this video is a bit tasteless, but the commercial still makes me laugh. I love that he didn't take himself too seriously.

  • he may have passed on but his memory will live forever and he has changed an entire generation world wide and made them have the love for animals and our environment that we should

  • irony at its best

  • I enjoyed this commercial when he was alive. I wish he still was... :*(

  • It may be sad to some. Others may not be suprised to see the commercial as a way of making fun of him, under the impression that there were a few who didn't understand him, so his actions may seem wreckless and crazy, (tackling crocs, catching venomous snakes). To me, it was to show a bit of everything in him, his courage, his passion, his knowledge, and just the fact that he is willing to pay a bit of a price for it; getting bitten up a little. Miss ya Steve! CRIKEY!!!!!!!!

  • FedEx made it to be HUMOROUS, noy to mock his death, which came AFTER this was filmed- much after. So, yeah, u r supposed to laugh.

  • thats a little fucked up

  • Um, yes he did. Sure, he didn't PRODUCE the commercial, but he most certainly was aware of, and consented to, him appearing in it. You can't make a movie or a tv series or most commercials without using actors, so therefore they make it just as much as the directors and producers and writers do. Steve thought it was a funny commercial -- if he didn't, he wouldn't have made it. Stop acting like you know him, calm down, and go find a happier video for yourself.

  • I still think this is an hilarious video and it wouldn't be right to not still laugh at it. He was a really entertaining guy who obviously loved what he did. He wanted us to laugh at this joke and I'm sure it's ok to still laugh at it. Why? Cause it's still a joke.

  • i know i'm most likely going to get some sort of feedback (bad or good) but i don't care. irwin was an awesome dude. funny, smart, energetic. when i saw this commercial for the first time back in the 90's, i was rolling on the floor, and you know what? i still do every time i see it!! i'm deeply saddened by his death, and i give all my love to his family, but he participated in this ad to make people laugh, and have fun, and i intend to honor that. to me, it would disrespectful NOT to laugh.

  • Very well said, bluespartan. Steve didn't take himself too seriously to poke fun at himself, and we shouldn't take this ad too seriously either.

  • Do you know "Steve's" family? Maybe you yourself should show Mr. Irwin some respect. After all, he chose to make to make this hilarious commercial...

  • No, it's still funny. HAHAHA

  • Annoy the hell out of me and I'll bite you too.

He annoyed one animal - too many, for the last time.

  • why was this marked as spam?

  • Thats hilarious.

    HAHAHA

  • I agree but IMO, it's not quite as funny as it used to be.

  • Hey, fuckoff!

  • i certainly agree

  • I am not one of those liberal types that would say take it down. Its still funny, but its just not quite the same anymore -- since he actually died much like he did here -- but it was with a Stingray instead of a Fear Snake.

  • I agree with you. I would however say not to show it anymore out of respect to his family. If it's alright with them, then it's alright with me. I do like this commerical but since he died for real, it just isn't as funny as it was.

  • RIP

  • FIVED AND FAVED - the other copy of this got taken down by the user.

  • all's i hear is a fuckin tuba.

  • what a lovely soul, even at death we can smile and laugh instead of crying. ur the best steve irwin, rest in peace my friend.

  • ok. i agree with everyone. it wasn't sadistic and horrible to post this after he died. grow up. this is a kickass commercial. it was a little mean that you poked fun at his death though, not too horrible but it wasn't cool, especially because he didn't die of poison. it stabbed him in the heart, plus he wasn't thinking straight, he took medication or something. bottom line is, you should keep the clip, but ditch the description. come on everyone lighten up. quit bitchin, start a revolution.

  • aw, you ruined your first joke. boo!

  • haha fuckin ha. good one, man.

  • C'mon folks, Steve set out in his life to teach, amuse, and entertain and he has done all of these things. This just shows a man who would and did die doing what he loved and believed in.

  • Ummmm...I adore Steven Irwin...He made this commercial, as he was always poking fun at himself. This is so NOT insulting to his memory. Please stop making rude comments to the poster because Steve would've wanted us to remember him as he was--living on the edge, lauging even through pain, and loving all animals. He had a sense of humor. Please honor his memory by having one, too.

  • thanks for posting this. I've been looking for it forever. It's hard not to laugh, seeing how he died and all, but I'm sure that's what he would have wanted. He agreed to make this afterall.

  • you gotta wait 22.3 years to make fun of steve irwin's death. cause that's how long it takes for something tragic to be funny----watch south park

  • I think you need serious help dude. You don't have any respect at all nor do you have any knowledge only ingnorant people shout out this crap.

  • You noobs! If yall knew anything about popculture you would know that fedex made this along time ago! Pluss on top of that Steve was making fun of himself! This is all for giggles. Get over it!

  • sad

  • ... that was frikin mean to post this when he died

  • Ah learn to take a joke, none of you really knew the guy, his life on telivision is but a superficial excuse, as is shaking his hand. Those who knew him in the outback community are the only ones privileged with responding harshly, and even they need to get a sense of humour.

  • ur a real dickhead u sick fucker

  • neonitride would you just fuck off and die?making fun of ppl whe they are dead..go and burn your house if you're so free

  • u are one sick fuck... i hope u die a horrible death

  • ur a dumass neo...the poisen didnt kill him....have some respect for him

  • yeah

  • what a creep...

  • I lolled

  • This commercial is under the meaning of irony in webster's, that is completely sick of you though.

  • Hey Neo, it's a bit early to be making jokes...dontcha think?

  • He didn't die of the poison. The stingray's barb punctured his heart.
