  • Its the new Prometheus trailer!

  • it looks like a big baloon for kids

  • 2:55-3:05 looks like a rape scene haha

  • so, who won?

  • @ShiningforceHero HE ends up trying to trank the alien and accidentally deflates/kills it. If memory serves.

  • i am think what can i look for here on youtube. The crazy idea work out and i have my Memory's back after 30 Years and must smile and be happy. It don't need a hundred Million Dollar Budget to make good Movies what you never forget. Same with(but other Genre) Some like it hot with Marylin Monroe for Example. Only good

  • A Xenomorph wouldn't stand a chance against that tickling tomato beach ball.

  • That ball looks a bit like a Metroid

  • Han Solos got nothing on Sgt. Pinback!

  • i saw this in the theater when it came out and it freaked me out.i miss those days

  • We're watching this in my film studies class, I couldn't stop laughing everytime Emma came on the screen. Gotta love beach ball aliens XD

  • i stopped eating tomatoes after this!!

  • I saw this movie when I was probably 15 and, of all things, stoned. (Not that I endorse it.) It made a HUGE impression on me and I never forgot it. I thought it was more creepy and claustrophobic than anything...Talby losing his mind, etc. Even these scenes with such a silly alien were intense. I just love this movie.

  • As in "2001", the interior of this spacecraft is larger than its exterior.

  • 3:24 haha XD

  • i love how after practically sodomizing and almost killing him, the alien just goes back to jiggling in its little hole there.

  • ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FILMS OF ALL TIME

  • Surprisingly a good movie considering it was essentially a master's thesis.

  • RIP Dan.

  • Oh wow I didn't know Dan died. His work has been impressive and this is probably his acting tour deforce. One of the best parts of this movie.

  • Impressive forced perspective shot.

Alien looks like hes butt raping him

  • He's so clearly just laying down with a funny camera angle! LOL

  • @itsallinallston Later in the sequence you can see he's lying on something - probably a wooden board.

  • Ahh, I believe the writer of this fim took the space premise of Dark Star, along with the slasher premise of Halloween, and created one of the most famous movies of all time...Alien.

  • HAHA and I watched this as a kid! My uncle found the video of it one year and I'll never forget that funny "tomatoe" looking alien XD

  • Like.. From Futurama?

"The Elders tell of a young ball much like you. He bounced three metres in the air. Then he bounced 1.8 metres in the air. Then he bounced FOUR metres in the air."

  • We demand bouncing, followed by rolling, followed by rolling of the third type. May you bounce in peace!

  • I wish they had the entire alien scene from start to finish on here. From when Pinback goes in to feed it, till when he shoots it and it deflates. The alien scene makes this movie.

  • I saw it on the big screen. The lift shaft scene is genuinely scary.

  • Was that ball just tickling him?

  • Yep

  • Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

  • this film only costed about 60.000 dollars!

For that amount it's really good!

But fighting with a balloon seems ridiculous to me!

  • ..............not just any balloon :oP

  • Awesome movie. ...Although talking to the bomb is my favorite part. (Good spin on philosophy)

  • great movie

  • It was actually the beach ball sequence from Dark Star that gave Dan O'Bannon the idea for Alien ( in space no one can hear you scream).

  • This is my favorite section of the film.. I found it really scary and distressing and then it ends with this comedy moment

  • Lol @ the tickling.

  • He got his anus "probed".

  • The alien is so cute in some way. It looks like a giant tomatoe.

  • Did you know...the entire sequence with Pinback and the alien was not in the original screenplay. The story went straight from the destruction of the first planet to the part with Bomb #20. The film started out as a USC film school project but when O'Bannon wanted to get it released nationally, it had to be made longer, so O'Bannon wrote and shot the entire scene with the alien (that's why none of the other 3 actors are in the scene at all - either by face or voice.)

  • AWESOME and that's the best part!

  • What about the viking dude doing target practice?

  • LOL molestered!

  • omg its a...BEACH BALL!!!

  • The alien is tickling him.

  • rofl!

    pinback vs elmo!

  • Fantastic! One of the cleverest and most funny low budget films ever made. I wish they had made a sequel, but how could anyone follow that?

  • are you medicated yet?

  • Yeah man...how are the Dodgers doin'?

  • Cant believe this is the template for ALIEN LOL

  • THATS WHAT I JUST FINESHED TYPING ON A NOTHER VID OF THIS isnt it counfusing? lol

  • 1:59 -

    Alien- [Squeek-Shuffle]

    Pinback- IDIOT!!!

Its when he points at it that really makes that bit piss-pants funny.

  • this scene is so intens i shit my panss.

    Bloody good movie

  • best fucking movie yall look up darkstar remake

  • He's NOT Pinback !

I've actually seen this movie LOL .

  • So did I. I watched it in a German dubbed version back in the late 70'ies. That doesn't improve it much. Then again, for a low budget film and some young guys trying to have fun, I recon it's all right.

  • Yes it's crap. But I love it too and have stayed up very late to see it. It's about 20 years since this has been on TV.

In any case he isn;t Pinback. Pinbback commits suicide early in the movie.

  • this is too pinback

  • Well sure, they call him Pinback, and he's wearing Pinback's uniform,

but once again, I actually saw it, he's not Pinback.

In fact he says it several times.

  • o yeah its his nick name right? or something he says it when he records his diary lol

  • I this in the theater in the eighties. I was hooked.

  • Pallet jacks?!! 2x12's?!! You mean it's not real??

  • yay for beach ball aliens!..

  • It is amazing what you can achieve by using some plywood, a couple of 2x12's, a pallet jack, a beachball, and some forced perspective camera angles. That, and a bit of editing too. There is comedy throughout this movie, some of it is quite subtle. This movie is rated "G" and is family safe, although I doubt anyone under the age of, say 20ish, will fully appreciate it.

I have the original VHS release of this movie. I tortured my daughters with it by playing it often. It would clear the room.

  • IDIOT!!!

  • mmmm 70s synth

  • I love the alien in every way.

  • I cant belive this is Dan Obannon, One of the writers for the Alien movie. This movie right here is the germ of alien. Far out!! :)

    This movie is great!

  • I love this film it inspired me to make my movie "HOW TO MAKE A SPECIAL EFFECTS FEATURE FILM FOR $2000"

  • Damn this movie is still great. Even with the ubercheap Alien effects (see the beach ball) it still is better than 90% of the shit out there.

  • Pinback is the young John Carpenter, Top Man

  • Lol, the John Carpenter´s music, isn´t bad.

  • The first time I saw this, I laughed so much I nearly threw up. I know. It's just a bit of slapstick, after all... but hey... ! :-) :-)

  • Pinback looks like Harry Nilsson

  • this is cruel but bloody hilarious!
