  • wow fantastic

  • i still love her.....golden voice!!!! u rock susan!!!

  • Ooh My, what an amazing voice.

  • HHHHHHHHHHHHOT!!!!! Dang!

  • Nice rendition "It hurt so bad" I will be flying in from China to Denver in about 3 weeks. I have 4 weeks FMLA and since I work for UAL I can travel. for free for 4 weeks. Then I have to use my vacation. I have about 3 weeks left. Anyway since my sister lives in Fort Collins and I can burn my FMLA there...note...new baby. My wife is from China and we are showing off our little girl this week, Our plan is to go to Ft Collins and then Minn. for fishing

  • Even live, she is AWESOME! And makes that guitar talk to boot!

  • I knew she was a musician and married to Derek Trucks, but had never really heard much of her music until I came across her CD at my local Salvation Army store. Bought it, took it home and played it, and was absolutely amazed to find out what a damn good singer (and guitarist) she is. She blows most of today's so-called "singers" clear out the water. It's a pity someone with this much talent doesn't get more recognition.

  • @rodentcafeteria We're gonna have to spread the word on her, just like blues fans did for years in the seventies and eighties on Bonnie until everyone wised up.

  • @zalman595 You're absolutely right. I've already been spreading the word about this talented lady!!

  • great vid from the period just after her peak with just wont burn album!

  • definetly Bonnie Raitt worthy

  • Who could thumbs down this video!? much love for T & T

  • Why compare a Blues artist to Madonna????

If you said to me Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi are in the same League..

    i would say...Oh YEAH!...most definitely!

  • Good work, Susan!

    Women guitar players rock!

    Love,

    Ana

  • belt it out sister! Wow can she sing.

  • Reminds me of a band called "The Wild Things" from my village long ago and how they would play

  • great blues song.

  • Jesus Christ has this little white girl got some SOUL! She has more soul and feeling in one pubic hair than the Human Cum Dumpster (Madonna) ever thought about.

  • @franklinrocks1 True, but Madonna never claimed to have soul or be a blues singer either. She's pure pop. Not my cup of tea, but she is what she is.

  • A voice that makes you ache!

  • Now that's heart-felt blues!

  • That is just smoking!!!BIG OGRE

  • here you g connie

  • i love this song!..blues baby..:)

  • My favorite version of this is from her Live on Austin City Limits DVD. Just AWESOME.

  • Man oh man!!! Just love voice!!!!!

  • hot damn, I do!!! mama rocks!!!

  • She is FANTASTIC.

  • I just watched a video filmed in Knoxville, TN where they have these "sundown concerts" and I saw her the first time on the video. I am glad I ran across this. The glasses added a bit to her look. Naughty school teacher? I don't know, but I liked it.

  • I saw her a few years ago at bb's blues fest if you ever get a chance to see her live...hang on to something she will blow you away.

  • does anyone know if she ever comes to the MS delta to play?

  • 2000, driving around San Francisco in July, trying to find a hotel run in the middle of tourist season. Everything was sold out from San Fran down to San Jose. But it was all good because I was able to listen to a live recording of some one named Susan Teceschi. When this song came on I was blown away. Years later, she'd roll into my hotel in the wee hours and . . .I missed her. I'd nodded off to sleep, but woke up in time to see her name on the side of her tour bus. DAMN! LOL.

  • Preciosa... me encanta su voz y su estilo.

  • It hurt... it hurt... it hurt so bad 'Cause ooo you were the best man I ever, ever, ever had Why was I so blind to see And now the biggest fool is me Oh Oh what a fool I was darlin'... yes... And oh you were a fool to let... let me go... why did you let me go? It's so lonesome here with out you Oh how I miss you so Oh Oh now yes Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it oh lord no! I miss you oh yeah! Come back Oh! come back to me, yes Oh how I miss you Oh I miss you so
  • I've seen her in concert so many times I can't even count. Each time is better than the time before, I can't get enough. My friends call me The Stalker. This one is always my favorite. There is something incredible and addictive about her singing, love the band too. Lots of comments comparing her to Joplin and Raitt - let's not forget Mel Etheridge...Susan is the best of all three wrapped up in one blissful, vocal powerhouse.

  • talent all around- mr. trucks is a very lucky man thank you for posting

  • A great singer,and she plays a mean guitar. :o)

  • i saw her live and she played this song and it was AMAZING! i love her!

  • I saw her at the Cambridge Folk Festival. The set was awesome and she was really nice at the signing tent, signing both my programme and my CD. She also let me take 3 photographs - what a star!

  • I saw her too at Cambridge Folk Festival! Thought she was the best act there.

  • Listening to her latest CD 'Back To The River' I was just thinking that her voice was reminiscent of Bonnie Raitt.

Susan has a great voice, plays a mean guitar and I love the soulfulness provided by the horn sound.

  • I just saw her live at the Cambridge Folk Festival, terrific! She does remind me a bit of Janis Joplin.

  • tigerskitten loves it too

  • her voice is a littlebit like Janis joplin

  • Amazing vocals and sound...still play this song as often as i can on my radio show...

  • The only song to give me chills, literally!

  • Derek isn't but about 29 now himself. So,I don't think so!

  • @elwood0330 Her and Derek's kid? Dude, Derek is only 30 years old! Maybe in 20 years!

  • @elwood0330 Their oldest kid is like 9 years old, LOL.

  • @elwood0330 that's Todd Smallie, martha focker

  • she's amazing..needs her "Nick of Time"

  • Not only is she adorable, and has a great ass, but she can sing, play guitar great, and she's married to one of the greatest slide guitar players Derek Trucks.

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeee her

  • She's been a household name here for many years - right next to Bonnie, and her concerts are amazing - just like her voice

  • Incredible. And married to an Allman Brother too! She has it all. What a set of vocal chords.

  • One of the songs that helped me through a very dark time a few years back. Nice to hear it in a better place and time.

  • Susan U're the goddess of blues, what a voice¡¡¡ luv u

  • Love Janice too, but she cant touch Susan!

  • better than Janice Joplin

  • sounds like SOMEone's smokin a little too much meth..

  • What she needs is someone to come out with cape, lead her off the stage, and then run back on, like James Brown with Please, Please, Please.

  • man, when she bends those strings it sounds like she's got a fat ole' set of 12s on that git fiddler

  • hahah, right :) perhaps that's what she's using hahah....

great performance though. except for the solo, which would be way more interesting if she played less notes.

  • haha, well, maybe not less notes but less repeated licks and more variety. But atleast she makes it groove

  • One of my alltime favorite songs and singers!

  • What a performer! She is great. I saw her about 10 years ago. It's a crime that she isn't a bigger star. So much talent.

If Madonna got up on top of a fire truck ladder she couldn't kiss Tedeschi *ss.

  • @juscurious ...in one word...YES

  • @juscurious She's not a huge star because her music is real and she has true talent. Most of the mainstream "artists" are manufactured by the record producers and the media.Madonna couldn't hold a candle to Susan Tedeschi!

  • She scorches with her vocals and guitar.

  • fanf...tastic!!

  • what kind of guitar is Susan playing? Great job, BTW.

  • Susan is mostly playing this D'ANGELICO New Yorker type, custom made. A rare and very beautiful guitar from the NYC based D'Angelico factory. Founded by John D'Angelico (1905-1964) who started building guitars in the 1930ties!
