i think we say bless u because its something nice to say it could mean that when someone say bless u it means to them that they could care about u and hope u wont get sick or dont have a illness (a specialy cancer) they dont want something to happen to people even if its a family member its important to care about others even if u dont know them its a nice thing to do once in a while even if u dont like it just say thank you if someones says it, it means the care about u
