so, u make those grooves longer on a key, slide pins in the groves wrapped with a zip tie and there you have a mini tubular lock pick. whoever makes this tag me in the video. i wanna see what my idea looks like
I need a lock pick! My landlord charges way too much for the damn laundry. Time to change that. The ebay items are removed. Where can I buy a tubular lock pick?
@excalubur2k it just takes some practice. Some will pick easier than others. It also depends on the lock. If it's an ACE security lock then you might not be able to pick it due to different spring rates in the barel
@nora8brian the tube of the pic fits into the tubular lock. before you fit it in, you make sure all of the pins are flat by pressing it onto a table, then tightening pin tensions, and inserting into lock - then slowing wiggling it back and forth when SLOWLY removing. The little L shaped pins, when moved by the lock, move backwards util they replicate the depth required by each pin. goog it.
@nora8brian basicly the pick moves in such a way that the pin (L shaped parts on the pick) as to replicate the depths on the cuts on the key :) if you msg me id be more than willing to give you a boatload of info and what locks can be picked so you ca have some fun

they cut the video right at the important part.
They left out how to manipulate the pins while applying rotational pressure.
so this information provided is useless. go figure..

The way you say "South Hord" reminds me of the "Cool Hwhip" Family Guy episode. There's no 'H' in SouthOrd. lol! :) Nice vid!

Nice video. I can't believe it picked so quick! My Southord 7-Pin just came in today, going to give it a field test soon, I'll post if I'm as lucky.
