  • yeah, he's the father of rock and roll. yet chuck berry has been a sloppy, indifferent performer for MOST of his career. (and he hasn't improved with age.) also, he isn't a particularly prolific songwriter. he's written two hundred some odd songs over a fifty plus year career, so that averages to about four songs a year.
